eb4y bids are going well. I've got bids on 4 items so far one of which 2 people have bid on so hoping for a bidding war.

I've transfered money from paypal just waiting for it to hit my account so I can pay it off my c/c. That would then take my balance down to £40 :j that will be paid off completely on pay day.

we don't have to pay council tax again in march so that will go off DH's c/c which is the next balance to be attacked. we plan to up the direct debit amount of the windows so that we automatically over pay each month. then once DH's c/c is paid off then the window loan will go.

I will not spend my 30's in debt *stamps foot*

For some reason the paypal money didn't transfer into my account so I am going to wait til the weekend and transfer more out. I'm waiting til the weekend as I sold quite a few things on eb4y on the weekend and I like to wait til the buyers leave feedback before transfering money out of paypal just in case of disputes. There is no reason that there should be a dispute but I don't trust eb4y sometimes so I try to err on the side of caution.

No money news today as I haven't paid off my c/c yet. Need to have a good look at my finances for this month. money is really tight this month as I have a night out saturday, afternoon tea for a friend's birthday on sunday, 3 birthdays and a very low pay this month.

On the up side I just missed my make £5 a day target for february by less than £4! So I must do better this month.

Today I am going to spend the morning sorting out the nursery as DS is getting a bit big for his moses basket now so will need to go into his cot soon. DD has been using her brother's room as a play room so a lot of her toys are in there which will need to be moved back into her bedroom. Not quite sure why she can't play with them in her bedroom as she has the biggest one in the house! Novelty I guess.

Nursery is all sorted. New mattress in cot, all DD's toys back in her room (which now needs tidied - job for this afternoon/tomorrow?), all DS's clothes sorted and hung up. Feel better now that is done. I really don't know why I put off jobs as they just build up into a big job in my head but actually it doesn't take long to do.

Also looked at money and I have paid £50 off my c/c bringing the balance to £0 :j I am really pleased with that, although I do need to get back on eb4y to make sure I don't go overdrawn this month. I shouldn't but I do need to keep my eye on the ball this month.

    Money update

    NW c/c (me) £0 :j
NW c/c (DH) £3017.64 need to check current balance with DH
    Windows £4160

    Total £7177.64

Wow you seem so efficient! My nursery is still in various boxes as I'm torn between putting new baby in spare bedroom so my 2yrold wouldn't have to leave his room or moving him as I need his cot for new baby soon! My hospital bag is still not washed (formerly known as airport hand luggage:rotfl:) so content is in a designated drawer for the little body suits which are still in the plastic bags as i bought them - didn't come around washing them yet.

Sorting it all feels like too much right now so I'm just lying on the sofa and pretend being busy 'growing a baby':D

Hi Weronika, thanks for popping by. I'm not that organised. DS is nearly 4 months old! When's your baby due??

I used the "busy growing a baby" [STRIKE]excuse[/STRIKE] reason a lot when I was pregnant ;)

We got less than 20 days together, so I need to finally make some decisions!
At least I finally got all the content of hospital bag sorted -although still in a drawer- last time it cought me completely unprepared as I only went to hospital for a check up and they didn't let me go home:cool:

But I can totally see myself still mulling over those decisions when baby reaches 4 months old:rotfl:

my mum nagged and nagged me to get my hospital bag packed. I finally got it packed and baby was so overdue they induced me so there was no rush to pack it for me.

you may want it packed before you go for a check up this time mind ;)

Hi orange fairy. Hope you had a good weekend? I did. I actually had a social life for once. Saturday I went on a photography course to learn how to use my camera better, then I went on a night out in the evening. Haven't had a night out in over a year. The yesterday I had afternoon tea with the girls for a friends 30th. Not very good weekend for the bank balance or waistline but I really enjoyed myself
