Wow end of month! How did that happen? I didn't set any March challenges. More through forgetting than anything else. It's been a busy month though. With schools work for the first half of the month and regular agency work for the second half. I've got another 4 weeks work with the agency so that pretty much covers April too.
So what have I paid off this month? Not a lot I don't think as I haven't made an extra overpayments I don't think? Except the council tax money which we don't pay in March.
Payments made £329.99
DH has taken the car to the garage tonight so hopefully it'll be fixed by tomorrow. It will be paid for out of savings (and the lovely money that was gifted to us) and then the savings will be paid back out of my agency pay as they are for the insurance/mot etcGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

:T car is fixed woohoo! And it cost us less than £200 thanks to the kind people in our lives. We have taken that out of our savings which is for yearly bills (car, christmas etc) and I will pay that back from my extra agency shifts. The agency money was going for overpayments but it doesn't matter. It was nice that we had a bit of savings to borrow from.
Ideally we would have separate "emergency savings" but we don't so we are doing it this way instead. Emergency savings are first on my list however once we are debt free.
In overpayment news, the old window loan payment has been moved to the loan taking us very close to £2k paid off and just over 40% paid off. Pretty good for a quarter of the way through the year!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Well I have been missing for a while haven't I? I've been working a lot of extra shifts for the agency recently and I've been struggling to keep on top of things. I know it's ridiculous really as a lot of people have full time jobs and still manage to keep on top of things but I haven't seemed to do very well at all.
I've just been updating my money spreadsheet as that's another thing I haven't kept on top of. Good news is that we have still managed to overpay the loan and we are now officially over half way. Only just but that still counts :rotfl:
Payments made £539.25 :T
That brings it up to 50.17% paid off :j Not bad really. Still quite a bit to go yet though so I can't celebrate yet but we are only April and I do have some more agency shifts booked too. I've just got to make sure I keep on top of both money (no extra spending just because I have extra money) and the housework!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Lovely to see you back! I don't know how people work full time either. My house goes to rack and ruin when I've to work extra hours!

Morning all. I have a child free, work free day today. :j and do you know I woke up this morning feeling crappy!
sore throat, headache, earache. Typical. I can't let that get in the way though as I have loads planned for today. I've got sewing to do and fabric sorting. I also want to pull my wedding dress out of the attic ready to be upcycled  It's our 10th wedding anniversary this year and I want to wear it to go out in. So I'm thinkin to shorten it to knee length, a petticoat underneath, add some straps, a bolero/shawl thing maybe and it will make a nice going out dress.
That won't be done quite yet though as I've got other things that need to be done first. Our anniversary isn't til September so no rush. I just want to get it out of the box so I can try it on  and measure length.
Lovely and sunny here too so washing on ready to go on line when it's finished. Payday in 2 days woohoo!! :TGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
