Think you are mistaken there .....
.. Morrisons at one point had some relationship with SOMERFIELD ...
... and SOMERFIELD is NOW the CO-OP ... all ours have been rebranded in the last few weeks.
... but NO connection at all with Morrisons to my knowledge.
EDIT UPDATE - Morrisons bought out SAFEWAY a while back
and I think picked up a few of the SOMERFIELD stores when the Co-Op aquired the group - a Monopolies & Mergers watchdog requirement about how many the Co-Op could keep I seem to remember

The only turkey crowns I have seen in Morrisons were £30+ !!!:A0

Cooked the 3 turkey crowns today.
THUMBS UP ALL ROUND - 30 people all fed & watered and VERY HAPPY - everyone commented how nice they thought it was ....... and still quite a bit left (perhaps 6 or 8 portions)
Very nice indeed - moist & juicy, tender and a nice flavour - can't knock them for £8 each

Plenty of the £8 crowns and whole turkeys left in Morrisons on Canvey. Got mine yesterday. Its so big I have had to take a drawer out of the freezer and rest it on the shelf!!0

Did anyone else's Morrison's turkey crown have bones in? I've been buying a crown for the past 5 yrs & this yr is the first time it's ever had bones in, it had wings & the breast bone! - bit disappointed with it tbh! oh well can't complain too much for £8.00 I guess.0

Mine had bones too, first time i had crown but was nice done in water bath..SIMPLES!0
