:hello:Hi to all my flylady friends! Massive hugs to all those in need - warm vibes coming your way. I have lots sent to me, and I can share!

Thank you again all of you for your support, really appreciate it.We have a two week wait to see if treatment successful, fingers firmly crossed.

Demanding day at work - the kids were all up in the air, and some of mine were just plain awful, would love to know what their parents would think if they saw the way their little darlings speak to me. I have generously offered them a fresh start next week - and then I start phoning home.

Flying restricted to a little light tidying, and probably washing up after dinner.

Off to France for the day tomorrow, as long as the strike is over. DD gave a trip to a friend as a birthday present, provided I went as well.:D

hex - hope that the tests went okay

    Love and hugs.

  • Well I've just had a busy hour or so. House still looks like a bombs hit it but my kitchen is organised!!!

I started to go through the crockery chucking away any chipped bits. I now have 3 dinner plates, 4 bowls and 3 mugs:rotfl:Fingers crossed my husband has picked up on my hints for a new dinner service for Xmas!
I also threw away all of the warped kids plates, old bottles etc.
I then moved all my pots and pans to the bigger (& now emptier) crockery cupboard, rearranged the cupboard with the glasses.

Tommorows job is going to be sorting out the kitchen drawers (major dumping ground!) and ontop of the kitchen units.

Lots of snow here now. Im so glad DB and SIL went up home on Tuesday before this started.

Have gutted the living room today and moved the second bookcase. Its been cleaned and I have a bag of stuff for the charity shop tomorrow.

Mooloo - thanks for sharing your christmas past tale

PenPen - safe journey vibes for your DH

Fence coming a long well but one panel is too small so I've had to order another which is annoying and expensive.

Kitchen needs a good tidy up and I've a pile of ironing to do.

Be back later, best return my mother's phone call.

    Hello everyone

Haven't a hope in hell of catching up on everyone's news. I'm sorry I've been AWOL but things have been pretty dire here (still are...) financially. When that happens, I go into a deep decline. I've decided this time that I must snap out of the decline. It's not fair on the kids, the animals nor my friends. Most of all going into a decline won't solve my financial problems. Hard work will help (which I'm doing!) but I also need to socialise too - even if it's on a forum.

I also need to sort my house out too - the bare minimum of housework has been done over the last few months and that needs to change. So, I'm back if you'll have me...

Hope all are well and keeping warm and not too snowed up....

Lovely to see you Soappie - how are the kittens? Have you had some eggs yet?

DW emptied and filled, and I made a coffee cake to use up some of the egg mountain. I must put the WM on but that involves energy reserves to collect the washing. I also need to jump in the black bin so I can get the rest of the rubbish in for tomorrows collection.

Tests were uneventful, results due fairly urgently - thanks everyone for the kind wishes. Toots, I agree, you absolutely do not need any more needles.
