and any asociated elephants!
Soappie, I have all consuming hypercondria (sp?) atm - dizziness, fatigue, major muscle/joint problems, insomnia and a serious problem with turning blue with cold which is proving rather expensive in fire wood. It has got steadily worse for months now and I don't like being a bent over hobbling old lady at 37 so I cracked and went to the quacks. Probabably thyroid - at least I hope so because the alternatives are . Fatal to read about stuff because you instantly have all the symptoms. My younger hens are still laying, but the old girls are moulting and have stopped. Averaging maybe 3 a day out of the 5 young ones so hopefully yours will perform soon.
I need to make myself get up and do stuff like sort uniforms for the morning but I really am very tired now. Trying to discipline myself to just do critical stuff is suprisingly difficult. Time for a 10 minute bimble I think.
You know what hun, that sounds suspiciously like Lyme sweetheart...you were'nt bit by an insect were you....seriously that's how it started with me, I kept saying they've put a 80 year olds body in mine. It does also sound a bit thyroidy too so hopefully they'll get your tests sorted very soon. xxxxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

I had good intentions.. they lasted about half an hour!
I have sorted finances for the next 2 months.. I am poor so a VERY good job I got the large food shop!!!
I have written a list of the remaining presents I need to buy.. it isn't as long as first thought and I have had a few drips of inspiration so I know what I am getting. (need idea for DS1's gf, my mother and something for my sis (23) and one item each for around £15 for DS's aged 15 and 11 and DD's aged 10 and 8 from my mother.. ).. I'm sure while looking I will find something suitable.
I have not done..

Ooh I got my turkey today, Aldi £9.99 for a large crown, frozen of course and a three bird roast of Turkey, Chicken and Duck is the same price £9.99.
Now it does go against my principles of always trying to buy free range, however I need to watch my spendng too, debts to pay and all that, plus house to decorate, so have gone with this as it always seems to get great reviews.
Re christmas shopping, I've managed to get the two main pressies for DD2 and hubby, paid via paypal and ebay earnings so fairly neutral spending. I don't want to feel overwhelmed with Christmas so the earlier I can done, the better.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

hello all
bathroom tiled and grouted
final fix (basin; towel rail; touilet attached to wall; shower; shower screen) will be next week.
I so WOULD NOT have agreed to have it done had I known it would go on for so long byut it will be beutiful...
Soappie
was missing you; glad you're back
now - shall I fly in my bathroom tomorrow and give my tiles another wipe down?
Also I could refit the curtain rail - and (although they won't match) have curtains for privacy.
We have a stunned, stitched kitten - so no kitty babies will darken the Valli doorstep!
10 boxes of wall tiles and 3 boxes of borders (which came in at £4 EACH ) have been returned for a refund;)
e bay sale posted;)
And tomorrow night I go, for the first time EVER, to an ARENA gig to see Peter Kay! -with my mum and sisters and the Vallikids...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Evening all. No flying now until monday. Going away tomorrow afternoon and a friend round in the morning.Have managed to spend too much money today even though some on presents wasn't planning on spending it until next week.....ooops! Seems a lot of us are having financial crap! I think i'm ok then BANG its gone! Had to buy DD2 a new car seat so can put DS in hers and get rid of his. (hes HUGE!) Then ended up buying DS bike from ex for Christmas as it was such a bargain. I know he'll give me the money back but won't be til next week. Then filled up my tank- 50 quid.....shopping that included pressies and a sheep outfit!! Another 50 quid:eek: 40 quid on play.com  again pressies and very naughtily bought the kids a take out from the place that begins with M plus gave my bro £20 thats for my nephew birthday present hes bought for me so my purse feeling considerably lighter! Have to buy part of my families pressies by end of next week so my Nan can take them back. This is actually good as it will be done and gone! Oh starting to stress about Christmas. Part of me dreading it as first one without my ex...........every time i let myself think about it i want to cry. Part of me excited as after Christmas comes New Year and new start plus i love seeing the looks on my kids faces when they get their presents. Have fab weekend Flyladies. After ironing for the best part of 3 hours (minus juggling/folding other loads of washing) my ironing pile is.....BIGGER:rotfl::wall::rotfl::wall: Oh well, I'll get on with it tomorrow night while watching the season finales of True Blood
Hopefully I will get it cleared so I can spend the weekend painting and shifting stuff out of my room which is so cluttered with decorating gear its stupid. At least next week I have my normal days off so should be able to finish any last minute things.
Friday must do's
- Washing up
- wash load (towels)
- Insulation fitters here 9.30am
- Carpet shop to arrange date for them to come and fit them (check how long it will take if I COMPLETELY clear the rooms - sleepover in livingroom on mattresses anyone? :rotfl:)
- Work noon
- Wash down paintwork in hall with sugar soap, sand where necessary.
- Ironing until its gone STILL
- write plan of attack for decorating
- Earlyish night (pre-midnight!)
I'm off to put the ironing away, and then collapse into bed. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Morning All,
Yesterday for me was a day haunted by my black dog  and Wednesday night was a night of no sleep and well, I made the decision not to post here as I didn't feel it fair to whinge and moan.
Last night I went to bed at 10pm and then I woke at 4am this morning feeling very refreshed (had naps on and off all day yesterday too).
In fact I have even managed to strip my bed, sort out my floor/chair drobes and put a load of washing in the machine. The fire is also lit and crackling softly in the fire place and I am sat here with my second coffee feeling brighter than yesterday.. Yay..:T
Saw the nurse yesterday morning about my op wounds, everything is fairly ok bar my tummy button which she has given me some idoine dressings for and that should clear up over the weekend. I was also told that even though it is keyhole it was a big op so I need take it easy and the pain is normal and should ease off over the next week.
Today I am going to finish up the week of flying and then have a relatively chilled weekend (in more way than one we had a sprinkle of snow over night).
My listys..
Re-make bed with clean linen
Hoover all through bungalow
Sweep/Mop Kitchen and Bathroom
Make a start on sorting out my overflowing wardrobe and drawers
Sort through and do a final pre chrimbo ebay session
Finish assignment - Edit/Reference and ask mum to proof-read
Dry laundry and Ironing
Take cobweb brush for a walk around all rooms
Bingbag Waltz
Hmm think that is plenty to keep me going and no doubt whilst I am wandering around I will find a few other bits to deal with..
JulieJim - I hope the meds worked hunny and you got back to sleep
Piggers - I am still in awe at your Te$co shop
Froddington - I hope the gig was good, I have seen them at a couple of Bike rallies I used to attend back in the day and ooooh they are so good!
If i didn't mention you sorry my memories no good till the second coffee takes effect..:rotfl:
Anyway I am going to sit back and enjoy my coffee now and have a wander through the site. Been Looking for some lego for my goddaughters chrimbo gifts.. Woooooooooo :eek:Jeez I am sure it was never so complicated and expensive in my day. If I had a little character I thought I was spoilt now you can buy boxes of just tiles... (getting old ):rotfl:
No doubt be back later for some motivation..
Love, Hugs, Spoons and Coffee/Teas in bed (please bring mugs down and wash up :rotfl:)

shysarah the nurse tells you to take it easy and then you post your list!! do take it easy; little flutters only!!
Up at 5 to see Dad off. I'm going to miss him being here but we'll be over there for Christmas. His bed is stripped and in the WM. Fire is revived from last night, and I'm just going to have another cuppa before I have my shower & crack on with the lists.
Hope everyone has a good day
