Do you know I never asked! how stupid of me. I think it would be if I do it carefully. Its Harlequins Cupcakes, with applique cupcakes and sewn on buttons for the cherries on the top etc. Lovely fabric, but I did originally order it for the small window here in the cottage, but now we re moving she has a bigger window.
I am thinking that you are right, make cushions with the good stuff, and back it with the other to make it go further.
    Thanks:T

I googled the name of the fabric and found some very nice ideas - BIG patchwork:D - to "stretch" the yardage that you have: if you stick to the same weight when combining fabrics, things should be hunky dory.

LameWolf Are you pleased with the door? just wait until they are all done - what a difference - great news about your new boarder - over Christmas too! December will a busy doggy month for you! xx
Yes, it looks good, thanks Toots. It's going to be a long haul doing all seven; Mr LW works full time, and has over an hour's drive to and from the office, so I can't expect him to work on them in the evenings, as he's just too tired, but now everything's stashed in the spare room and I can see exactly what we're working around, I'm starting to get my head around it. We're going to go slowly, so as not to make stupid errors; after all, the last time Mr LW did any woodworking was at school!:D

It'll be fun having the dogs; Sidney I already know; and I gather Max is a typical Greyhound - a couch potato! It'll be fun having him around at a time of year I'm usually bored out of my skull.:o We have two dogless days between Sid going home and Max arriving; and Mr LW is on leave for one of those!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Happy Birthday Tiddles - hope you have a lovely day xx

thats great LameWolf and well done to Dh for tackling such a big job - I am sure he will be glad to make progress when he can. You are doing well and you just need to keep on top of things as best you can - the house may not be as spotless as you would like when he is working but its in a good cause and I bet only you will notice:D

washing on the airer - tea in the oven - plans made - goals need to be met!

will go find a list and update the housework side
    toots xx

p.s. does anyone know where i could buy one of these outdoor tweed jackets - not a dear one - you see men wearing them like gamekeepers and farmers - I think they are referred to as derby jackets - I need one for my DSiL - I can get mens ones for about £50 but the ladies ones I have seen are about £100 - its for doing the horses on the cold mornings so doesnt need to be posh!

    ME: Alright thankyou
DR: We don't need to see you again goodbye
    ME: Is that it???
    DR: Yes

GGGRRRR :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: I waited 20 mins for that?? Ho hum

came back and tidied up the garage!!:j:j:j:j

Just going to hoover (the cats wont be pleased but it's disgusting (OH has done it a couple of times but not very thoroughly and now my 6 weeks ban is up)
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

Msgnomey I'm sure I don't need to tell you not to go at it like a bull at a gate. Your 6 week ban may be up, but I'd still take it steady, ease back into your routine, if I were you.;)
