Morning all.
Sorry Fantasia, have been rather distracted this week so reading but not posting. Slapped wrist and back to it.
Claire that sock monkey looks just fine to me. Have a look at Highland Monkeys blog, some great ones on there.
TMIF - love the kitchen. I bet you are made up with that.
GQ, thought that you had been quiet. Hope things get better for you soon. Hugs on their way
MG -Pooo - I have no clue as to what will work but I like the sound of the garden so far. Would definitley send son to the greengrocers much more chance of them taking pity.
Busy day today. Off to town to do a very important fax and pick up some pictures that I have invested in frames for. Then off to a wedding up North tonight. Really looking forward to it.
Have a good one everyone. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Bailey update,
Before
ANd Bailey now after 10 days of good nutrition, antibiotics and some TLC. He still has issues with his back leg and faces surgery for his leg and the entropia in his eye. But what a difference now0 -
Oh, that is lovely to see Bailey looking so wonderful. I am keeping on holding him in my hand and thinking healthy thoughts for him, like Marru suggested.
Have good news to report... my little house is offically up for sale as of yesterday. We signed the contract with the agent yesterday and he took all the pictures which will be in the brochure and on the website. Hubby and I started to get the garden sorted... and we rapidly found that our fitness has taken a major dip - I am in agony at the moment. Still, we have made a good start on it.
I am going to go and have a shower; get dressed; then sort the house out and then I might pop out and have a bit more of go in the garden. Or not. Where has the sunshine gone?!
Glad to hear MG that you are making plans and doing stuff in 15 minutes'. Its the way forward! Probably for me in the garden too!!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -

Wooohoooo!!!! I found 80p down the back of the sofa.
Took the 80p, bought a blue and white striped linen teatowel at the charity shop and sewed an apron. Sold the apron to my neighbour who needed an emergency birthday present for £1.90 (doubled my money)
Her Mum had forgotten a birthday pressie too - so sold her four little baggies of home made play-doh plus the recipe for £3.80 (doubled my money again)
Now need to have a rummage to find something that I can do to earn £7.60 so that I can double my money again.
Worked out that if I double my money with project each time its only 18 steps to paying off the mortgage :rotfl:
Anyone for a "double or quits challenge!"

Clootie hon - I asked on the "lets keep chickens" thread - but maybe you can help.
DS1 is still keen to have chickens - how much space do you really need to keep them?

MG - any fresh horsie poo will be great for composting ... BUT it needs to rest for 6 months as the urea in the straw will burn the plants.
You either need
1. 6 month old straw/poo
2. A big trench where you put the fresh stuff, then cover and grow courgettes / squash / potatoes
3. The patience to let it sit and half in size until it is ready
4. A compost area where you layer the straw/poo with veg leaves/dry stuff (like cardboard and shredded paper)0 -
Good Evening
Sounds like a good plan with the garden
Been to the market again today, seem to be getting better each week on Sales, so chuffed about that. May have another sock Monkey order too.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -

MG
Yep! Remember when I was working out how to become a millionare on £5.67 per day? This works but doubling is not enough - to work faster one ought to look at return of 10 to 1 at the ealy stages. And it is not that hard to get this.
But think:
You already have £3.80; 10 to 1 within two week will be £38. Another roll of this and another 2 weeks - £380. After that most people loose their nerve and start looking for safer things with lower return.
It is not only the rate of return though but the time cycle that matter as well.
Go for it!
