MG, what a fabulous idea! :) Really sounds like the energy is coming back, but please be careful with overdoing stuff. It will set you back, and we do not want that.

Right... back at work for a Monday, and so far, it has not been great. Today has turned out to be a bit of a "velcro" day. Instead of easing myself into the day, I feel like I have been ripped into it like velcro being opened. The alarm didn't go off and I surfaced to the Radio 4 news at 6.30. Bearing in mind that I leave the house at 6.45 usually.... well, you can imagine the mayhem as cats scattered one way, and duvet scattered the other, with me legging it into the shower and barking orders at my beloved! :D He is used to this however, and by the time I has showered, dressed, applied a full face of makeup, styled and dried my hair (all in 20 minutes!) he had made me a cup of tea in a travel mug, buttered two hot cross buns for my breakfast and made me a packed lunch. He is a total superstar!! :D:D:D:D

Hopefully the day will get better from here! :D

Seems to be the day for late starts - somehow managed to reset all the clocks in our house yesterday apart from my bedroom one!!!!

Cue one pretty busy morning getting DS2 up and our for playgroup.

Isn't it funny, but when you start the day in a tearing panic it sets the tone for the rest of the day.

Various comments about the maths being wrong - more that likely :D Will double check it all before I create my ticklist later today - but at least I am PART of the way to seeing how I can knock this last debt on the head (Yay!!!!! DF Date soon I hope, then on with the rest of our lives). Took one of the bags to playgroup this morning and sold it :T. So I feel a new and positive line on my singature coming up.

So BIG goals for today :rotfl:

    15 minutes seed sowing
15 minutes writing a list of timber needed for beds
15 minutes baking (I can make soda bread, raisin bread, hob nobs, granola, muffins and cupcakes in 15 minutes if I have no little helpers)

BTW - for the first time in ages I lost weight last week - 2lbs only, but that is a whole 4% towards my target.

Time to go and get DS2 from playgroup - then give him playtime n the park whilst DS1 finishes his school work.

Fabulous goals for the day MG! :T And I love that you're 4% towards your target :j :j (what a lovely way of looking at it!)

Tedious start to the day here - working at home, but the work itself is so dull (and have to save after every little change - saving takes a good 15 seconds, so I get easily distracted :rotfl:) Hmm - wonder what I could do with those 15 seconds, and how much it would add up to over the course of the day??

(without getting distracted and forgetting to go back to work after the 15 seconds is up, of course... :rotfl:)

As it happened I was late too. All the clocks were in correct time but I can't remember hearing the alarm. I must have turned it off. And because DD is not to be rushed we were both late this morning.

Anyway - I have been reading the body shape bible and I have a question. If an hourglass would like to wear jeans what kind of jeans she should have? Straight, bootleg?

To balance out your hips choose jeans that have a slightly flared, wide leg or boot cut. Tailored jeans can make your legs appear longer and lift the bum especially if worn with heels.
Thats what I think, Souk will probably have a better idea though.

Wish me luck - am just about to attempt to thread an overlocker that hasn't been out of its box since before DS2 was born - and my baby is 3 in 11 days:eek:

For those of you in the know - threading an overlocker is a cross between alchemy and the black arts :rotfl:

But it will save me so much time if I can get it operational.

Good news - DS1 and I met the landscape gardener that works opposite us today - they are opening the garden centre at the weekend and he is saving DS1 pots and stuff from the new stock- including a propogator:j. DS1 now has a gardening Mentor.:D

I finished a Montessori material this morning. Its a series of ten cards with sandpaper numbers stuck on 0 - 9 IYSWIM. They live in a box with 45 buttons. DS1 is introduced to the numbers one at a time and learns how to trace the number, then he selects butons fromthe box and places the right number on each card that he is working with. He did 1 - 4 this afternoon - which is pretty good for a little 'un.

Now I'm just putting off facing the overlocker ................... wish me luck
