Lovin' it MG, its so good that you are back, both posting and getting on with stuff. We all missed the breezy, bubbly posts, for a while there we were kind of losing momentum (am still trying to regain mine, redundancy looms in a fortnight ).
But the impetus seems to be back now and its onwards and upwards as always, I just love this thread, its become part of my daily do's now and don't like to not see it at least once a day.

Remember to be kind to yourself in the midst of all this energy gathering, your wellbeing is tantamount to the things you want to achieve.

And major good luck with the overlocker, (am in the process of trying to acquire a working sewing machine - freegle, freecycle 1st post of call)
    But we will see.
Used to be handy with a sewing machine years ago. Basic stuff but useful just the same.
Again positive vibes to those who are with us but not posting for various reasons. Haven't seen Winky around for ages, so hope all is well.
Groatie Queen, special vibes for you hon.
And to everyone else who reads xx

Bitsy can you email me bank details again so I can pay you? Sorry it has taken me so long :(

    .

No worries my lovely, will send you a PM.

Done nothing at home today  Been doing a Trinny-Susannah-Gok make over on my mum's wardrobe - Souk could have done with your expertise ;) Got a list of key items she needs to get so ebay here I come a-searching. Need to do the same on my wardrobe :o but think that will be tomorrow.

Seeds we sowed onb Friday are germinating already :T:T only problem is I forgot to label them so can't remember what's savoy cabbage, what's broccoli and what's onions :eek: Fairly important to identify the brassicas as I have to rotate them around the plot to avoid club root (or something like).

Fantasia - Hugs for you, I am sure something will turn up for you. Positive vibes for you xx

Its a machine you use when making clothes - if you look at the inside seam of a t-shirt, you will see threads that bind the edges together as well as sewing the two pieces together - well its an overlocker that does that...........

.................. and at about he 13th attempt I got it threaded so that it works.

I then rustled up a pair of pj bottoms for DS2 - which took me ten minutes from cutting out to trying on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It took me longer to thread the blessed thing than it did to make a pair of trousers .

He looks very cute in white and candy coloured flanelette though - perhaps I should throw them through the machine with a fabric dye?

Another one here who forgot to reset bedroom clock. Had to be up at 4.am today. Luckily Mr C didnt bother coming to bed (researching things on t'internet) as it got late and he thought he would stay up to wake me up. Lovely man! He woke me at 4.20 and asked what time my train was Errrrrr 5.00 and the station is 20 minutes drive and I need a shower and havent finished packing briefcase. Got to the station with seconds to spare. Only to be on a train for 3 hours and travelling as far as it should take one hour. The journey is normally 41/2 hours. Missed half my seminar. Now sitting in the hotel restaurant checking facebook and email. Posted sad post re being fed up being in hotels alone. My gay friend posted an hilarious post back about being here and making me late for work in the morning, well I found it so funny I just spat my wine all over the man on the next table. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I prescribe a gay friend for every woman who feels lonely.

Or if they want a man to dance (in my limited experience at any rate).
My H won't dance but my gay mate was ALWAYS up for a boogie on the dance floor at work functions :D

Hope it wasn't red wine ;)

<sigh> who knew that an origami rose would be soooooooo difficult to fold, especially whilst trying to watch video instructions on youtube  Have made a little box (go me :D) and a butterfly.
Want to make my mum a card for mothers day and thought a paper butterfly theme would be nice. Progressed on to trying a paper rose but it's soooooooo difficult especially with these less than bright energy saving lightbulbs, makes it hard to see all the creases on white paper :o
So shall be retreating back to butterflies and make flowers using a craft punch :rotfl:
