There was a challenge thread here some time ago where people tried to turn 10 pounds into 1000 or was it higher. But I couldn't for the life of me find it.

It was £100 into £10,000; and it folded because the guy who started it was impatient with the participants; and did not let them nutter about bras adn knickers and stuff.

There was one participant - ButterflyDawn former Scrooge - who has a good chance to make it; and she did promise to let me know at Christmas but...

Interestingly to do this over a year one does not need 1 to 10 return all the time; once one gets to £2,500 it works by turning 1 to 2 twice; so getting to £2,500 by July does it very confortably (and BD was there).

Woo ho MG is back!!!!!!!! Go girl Double or Quits? Hmm I am in the middle of something right now so no energy to focus on that but I like the sound of it. I remember FW talking about 10-1 and I have been very interested in this. There used to be a thread on here somewhere about turning £100 into £10000 in a year. It was mostly to do with Ebay to start with and there was a guy who set it up to talk people through doing it. Link here

Fantasia, my heart is singing for Bailey. Early days but boy does he look good. It is amazing what a bit of love and care can do for a boy.

Had our first "Adventure" today with the boys - as soon as the sofa covers were washed and on the line we headed out to the park with a picnic and their bikes.

Everyone had a great play in the "sun" and then we sat by the river and ate our picnic tea when everyone else went home to have "Sunday Dinner".

Mum called - she has booked DS1 and his best friend and Mum on a 5 day trip to Ayr over the Easter break. She is paying the £50 for the caravan - I have to provide a hamper of food as my contribution.

Wooohooooo!!!! Storecupboard rummage, freezer delve and a batch of baking should see everone fed and watered for 5 days.:j

I managed to get seven bags out of my Swedish Retro fabric - which is great because they are absolutely lovely. I will post a piccie over on the other side tomorrow. I figure I can keep one for myself.

Now to fight the good fight of getting the sofa cushions back together:D

The stuff that is TBA is because I need to have a closer look around my house to see what I can leverage into sales. But everything else can be created out of bits and pieces I have here to hand. Crafting really doesn't pay very well, but if doesn't cost me anything but some time than that is a good use of my evenings for a little while whilst I recuperate.

Even better - everything can be done with staggering distance of the sofa - although this morning the sun is out and I feel pretty good. I still lose my energy in the afternons though so I had better go and make the best of it this morning.

MG, is this cumulative? Doesn't appear to be? I need to think about this one but there probably is another way.

Been lurking again and not posting, but like the enthusiasm, but not sure the maths stacks up properly, like FW need to think about it a bit. The totes sound good, pictures would be nice.
