  • I thought I would share a couple of snaps of my lovely new kitchen. (I might put a before pic up later, but looking at the new one makes me realise quite how vile it was!)

Lovely kitchen - mine looks really scruffy and sad and unfinished now.

When I feel better I will take up the challenge of a "Make Do and Mend" Kitchen Makeover to cheer it up for the summer.

I really struggled sewing this arms, legs ears and mouth on, couldn't hold them properly in my hand, while I sewed with my good hand. The lady was pleased with him though.

  • Did you try pinning the arms and legs on first? That might make it easier?

Or do you (or Hubby) have a workmate or clamp you could attach him to the table with, then you won't have to hold him as you sew
