MG,
I have several packets of free seeds which I won't be using. (Carrot - chanternay and mini finger - coriander, basil, pepper chilli, primo cabbage & courgette - although the latter may take up more room than you have.) Would DSI like any or all of them? PM me (or respond here) if he would and I'll pop them in the post.
Hope you get your va-va-voom back soon. Have you looked for cod liver oil capsules, which are a more palatable alternative to taking the liquid?

Yep, I got them and gave them with the seeds to potential MIL. She is very happy with them as they are already growing nicely."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Thanks Greyfox -will PM you.
DS1 was talking last night - and he wants to be able to grow enough spare veggies so that during any gluts he can share with the old dears who live in the retirement homes around our corner (WE shop for them in the bad weather etc)
So I will have to get my thinking cap of how to get more produce for our limited space - thnkig of going vertical.
Sugah has give me capsules of Cod liver oil, Eveing Primrose oil and linseed oil to take for the next 200 days .................. and so far ....... no fishy burps which is fabulous.
Its a pretty sunny morning here - so may take a cup of tea out to the garden to have a look-see.

Morning all. Ooo MG a cup of tea in the garden. What a good way to start. There are some veg and fruit that you could grow in hanging baskets, is that workable for you. Also if you can, get a copy of Alys Fowlers "the edible garden" It is a great book with lots of lovely ideas in there.
Right ladies of the matrix who are always de cluttering I found this link which gives tips and advice. It also explains why the clutter is NOT your fault.
I am working on a happiness project at the moment. I am up with the larks like MG and I am going to do my yoga for the first time in erm................... well a long time.

Morning MG, don't post very often but still read. Can you put hanging baskets up in your space? If so you could grow tumbling tomatoes in those, customise a dustbin so you can grow spuds. HTH

Hi folks - remember me?:o
Sorry, but I've been living in the real world for a while & although I've been lurking I've not had time to post.
So from my lurks (or what I can remember)
Souk - so glad you're Mum is home - it'll be a real weight off your mind
Crickett - sorry about the job - but remember - What's for you will not go by you - so an even more perfect job will turn up
MG - Sugah sounds wonderful - even the energy that you were writing about him with was more like the old you. next few weeks will be hard but think of the benefits - & as the weather is more Springlike that'll help too.
PS - would Sugah like to attempt to va va voom me & DH -in the same way that you were va va voomed, if you know what I mean?
That would be a challenge for him.
Anyway - will update again @ lunchtime as wages now have to be earned
Take care folks & have a good day

Morning Matrix-ites!
It is sunny again and lovely, and I am determined to get loads done today and be in a fabulous mood because today is my Friday! I am not at work tomorrow, as hubby and I are signing contracts with the estate agent we have chosen to sell our house, and Friday is the only day he do it, unless we want to wait until the end of April. Erm... no fear!!I have waited long enough to get the house on the market!!
Of course, neither is it going to be a rest... because we have lots of work to do in the garden to make it look nice, as well as washing and ironing and cleaning and grocery shopping and I DESPERATELY need some new shoes!!
Right, I have to get my nose to the grindstone. Lots of work to do, and I am leaving here this afternoon at 4pm whatever happens!!Have a good day everyone!

Hi all, been lurking but not posting as not had proper internet for ages. Hugs to everyone that needs them and positive thoughts to you all.
Tada list so far today:
one load of washing
energy meter readings submitted
Todo today:
2 more loads of washing
run hoover round
washing up
start uni work (didn't even manage to do last assignment so seriously need to catch up!)
Hoping to get into the garden with my friend on Saturday if the weather holds... we have decided to tidy it up and even make a flower bed for sunflowers to be planted! I've never really been bothered about gardening before but really want to make our new garden nice for the summer.
Any ideas for something else I can plant that is easy to maintain? Sunflowers are a must, but not sure what else I could use (as cheap as possible!). Also considering growing tomatoes but slightly scared as I've never done it before!
ETA: Tada list now:
2 more loads of washing
button sewn onto work waistcoat
hoovered living room
most of the washing up
