Got a phone call from Sugah last night with some blood test results - turns out that I am anemic!!!!!!!!!
..................... well that explains how the whole of the last three months have gone to hell in a handcart:rotfl:
Makes soooooooo much sense now that I know - explains the exhaustion, grumpiness and "depressed but not depressed" feeling.
I am also low in Omega's - so the lovely Sugah is sending me over some supplements to help out for a while.
......................cod liver oil anyone ?????
MG
PS Claire I lost it with DS1 yesterday when I went into the loo and found he had "sprinkled" the floor. Made him don the rubber gloves, grab the stardrops and gave his a blow-by-blow of how to clean the loo and floor. He was disgusted - but I told him, he's ten and if he can't aim straight he can clean it up himself.............. well its one less job on my plate anywaysFINALLY AND OFFICIALLY DEBT FREESmall Emergency Fund £500 / £500

Morning Matrix Peeps!
MG - I was severely anaemic due to AF so know how exhausting it is. <shudders> at the cod liver oil......always repeats on me  Fishy burps are NOT pleasant:rotfl:
Gemmzie - What do you need to know about diet/nutrition? Is it worth seeing your GP?
Crickett - Hope you're feeling a tiny bit more positive this morning x
Right I had £70 cash for my birthday. I am thinking of trying to update my summer wardrobe with this but getting some key pieces. This being MSE an all I'd like to make this money stre-e-e-e-e-e-e-etch as far as possible. So challenge is to be able to buy as much for a little. I am not a fan of going shopping (which makes this even more of a challenge :rotfl:) Does anyone have any suggestions for online shops which don't cost the earth?
think this week I am cooking spag bol sauce in my SC, will do this for Thursday I think.
Not made a start yet on reading any of the books beside my bed although I've pulled out The Self Sufficient-ish Bible out this morning so perhaps I'll start there.
Was a bit more mindful about food yesterday :T Despite baking lots yesterday I didn't pick out on all the goodies
Still haven't got any compostand still haven't got the stain to restore the garden furniture, this MUST be done this week.
OK school run beckons so catch up later.

Morning all.
Awww, thank you for all the hugs and good wishes. Much needed they were. Feeling a teensy bit better this morning, though still thoroughly annoyed with my current work mates who make it very difficult to be positive and light hearted. It's the main reason I applied for anotehr job. Miserable swines - the lot of them. Plus I have four meetings one after the other today from 11 right through until 3. With no gaps for lunch or anything. In one way, its good. Gets me away from the people with faces like bags of spanners. In another way it sucks, because I have no time to eat. My solution? I am going to have a cooked breakfast! I am rather looking forward to it actually...!
MG - hope you begin to feel better and more like yourself very soon.
Take care one and all. Hopefully will be back to usual operational effectiveness by tomorrow."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Good morning
Mg I think I will try that with my boys, they are always doing that, all three lol.
Well I got in a 6 last night, everyone was sat watching tv, and the kitchen was exactly as I left it, half finished, dh had cooked tea, but then there was more dishes, I was too sore to do anything last night, so I've just cleared it now.my friend took all my ironing last night to help out, and another friend has gone to poundworld to get cleaning stuff etc (everythings 50p cause it is closing friday.) then she is coming down to help me.
Just sitting down to eat, so I can take pain killers, cause my leg is killing.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Morning all.
Clare, sorry to hear your news. Hopefully you will find something else soon. Love the description of the bag of spanners. I once read the David Brent top 10 tips for working in an office. One was if somebody is annoying you look at them through the prongs of a fork and imagine they are in prison. I used to do it with one boss and it made me giggle everytime. Silly I know but it worked for me.
MG, I too have been anaemic in the past so know exactly how you feel At least you know and can start sorting yourself out now. Blah to fish oil. Loving the way you are teaching son that is how Mum taught us. Hated it at the time but really appreciate it now when I look at how some friends have kids in their 20s who have no idea how to look after themselves. Claire, that is what you would be teaching them, you are not being a horrid mother you are teaching them survival skills. Trust me.
Bitsy, I cant really help with on line shops I am afraid. Do TK Maxx have a shop near you . I hate shopping but love shopping in there because I usually get lots of clothes for a small amount of money and can ensure that I buy mix and match stuff. They do everything from shoes, to bags, to knickers to fur coats (well almost, slight exaggeration)
I am feeling good. Couple of days of work to get me back on track as I too collapsed with exhaustion on Sunday. Sun is shining and showing up all the muck on the windows so I am going to give them a good clean today.
Have a good one everybody. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

How is your flat going along? Have they finished building it yet? x
Still being built, should be signing contracts any day now - just waiting for a few niggles to be sorted
Bitsy, GP is great but not much help with diet as according to them I'm borderline healthy weight so they aren't interested. I need a really strict diet/exercise plan as I can't eat enough and my body is in permenant starvation - hence the putting on fat that I can't shift. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Sons (males) and toilets - not nice. A good option is to teach them to sit down - and this should not affect their identity (well, not too much anyway).

Bitsy, most of the high street shops are online and you can find discount codes a lot of the time - try http://www.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/ and http://www.my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - and don't forget about cashback from Quidco or elsewhere. Hard to say what shops would be best as don't know your style or what you're looking for... Asos and Fashion Union are good for cheap basics, but for something more classic and better quality I'd probably try Debenhams or M&S. Or I've just got some great bits in the Oasis sale. eBay can be good too - either hardly-worn second hand, new (lots of people who've bought stuff and never worn it), and some mainstream shops now have 'eBay stores' with ends of lines or slight seconds going pretty cheap.
Ooh and the Self Sufficientish Bible is fab - have you seen the picture of the pig in there, he is gorgeous
Edit - hmm it didn't like the links - google 'voucher codes' and you'll find discount sites!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Is this to put on weight or to lose it? Sorry bit confused (doesn't take much :rotfl:)
Redsquirrel - thanks for the links, will have a look
Is there a cure for being naturally handicapped? I am so clumsy it's untrueI've just whacked my hand whilst vaccing, I am always kicking things (barefoot, my poor wee little toe ) It's a nightmare. Granted it's not life threatening but am getting a bit tired of it. I did ballet for 9 years so it's not like I can't be graceful or anything
Anyway kitchen is blitz and looks nice and clean and more importantly TIDY! Put the vac round downstairs, up the stairs, landing and all the bedrooms. Where this new found energy is coming from I don't know as DD keeps waking at 6am. I suppose because she's up earlier I get more done before the school run and carry on after. Mind you bopping round the kitchen to Katy Perry on Ipod does make it a little more pleasant
right off to clean the bathroom and then that's all the housework for todayI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
