Will take a picture later, my sewing isn't very good, and I struggled to hold the arms etc on while I sewed them to the body, Think I will be sticking to the jewellery making lol.
Dull and rainy day here today
Dh was having a go at me on Sat at the state of the housesaid he is fed up of spending his weekends cleaning, So I have just cleaned living room and dining room, hoovered polished and washed the floors, have started sorting the kitchen, diswasher is full and on, one lot of worktops washed and tidied, just waiting for dishwasher to finish, so I can empty and clean the other worktop and the sink, then can brush and mop the floor.
Managed to Iron 7 items of clothing and had to stop cause it was irritating my hip. So in agony now after all that, just stopped for something to eat then I can take pain killers, have to meet mum at 10.30 to do shopping, then she has a hospital appointment at 3 so the rest of the cleaning will have to wait till I get home.
Need to pop to the market to get 2 buttons for the sock monkey, and I need a new ironing board cover cause mine keeps coming off when I'm ironing.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Claire - just tell him to s0d off  you are doing so much already and you are not on incapacity for nothing. If he wants a cleaner house then he can surely get on with it. Let his moans just go in one ear and out the other."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Ah but you see Marru, he doesn't make a mess, so he doesn't see why he should clean up. even though his clothes have just been dumped where ever he has taken then off to.
It is just easier for me to get on with it when he is in a mood, or I will never her the end of it, The reason behind the mood is he doesn't like me going up to the market and doing jewellery demo's on a Sat, cause he has to clean if there is a mess, and sort washing out etc.
Right best move my bottom and get dressed or I won't meet mum intime, cause it is going to take me a bit longer to walk now.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Oh dear Claire, sounds like you have taken what your H says so literally. You dont need to do all of the cleaning in one mad rush because you will make yourself ill. Anwyay there is more than just you in that house. Marru is right that you are not on incapacity for nothing and you are doing so much, jewellery, helping your mum, courses, sock monkeys. You are not superwoman. So what I suggest is that you take an hour to yourself and do something that makes you relax and feel calm. After that hour sit down with a pen and paper. Write a schedule of work (cleaning) that needs to be done, including filling and emptying the dishwasher/washing machine. Then work out how long each job takes YOU (not somebody without your limitations - ie hubby and sons). Then do a seperate sheet of paper listing all of the work that you do for the jewellery - number of hours including the posting, packing, admimn, phonecalls and making jewellery, how many hours a week you spend helping your mum and all doctors and hospital appointments for both you and Mum. This is a time audit. You can do one for you, hubby, sons. Once that is done then allot jobs to each of them based on proportional level. For example if you have 10 hours more spare than Hubby you might do a little more. Yes your H is going out to work everyday and your sons to school but you are working and looking after your Mum too so all of you deserve a weekend. If you do a schedule/timetable for the work to be done in the week as much as possible H can do his share when he is not in work. Then you can schedule in a weekend treat for doing as a family.
Don't react by going mad at it all. React by using your brain to show that you are doing as much as you can and need help. When you present it in black and white then he cant argue with that.
Besides, if you do all that cleaning today it will need doing again by Saturday anywaySome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Sun is out - and everything seems much more cheerful. Had an awful weekend with a migraine that wouldn't quit - so it kind of passed me by in a haze.

Wow Claire I think your H is being a bit unfair. You never seem to stop from what I see you posting on here. it's not as if you're lounging around eating cream cakes all day.
Cheri gives you some good advice actually. I am the sort of person to just reactso I'd end up blowing my top and going on strike so Cheri's way is probably the more grown up way
I do think though your H is taking it all for granted and if you feel that your boys could help out more then he should be helping you to get them to muck in. Every day. Even if it's just small things.
My TADA list so far:
Washing hung on line another one to go when finished
Went shopping and put it away
dust lounge and landing
tidied round
Put vac round
put loaf of bread on
clean front door and back door with special cleaner
hang out rest of washing
Haven't stopped all morning and I am starting potty training with DD today eek! She's not keen, potty is too cold her delicate derriere <rollseyes> Even the lure of Disney Princess pants isn't enough to get her motivated. So chocolate buttons it isWish me luck

Hello all.. back at work but still not feeling great. Fairly quiet here though thankfully.
Claire, I think Cheri's suggestion is great. You may not be at work but you are helping your mum, trying to build up a business with your jewellery AND you have limitations because of your health. I'm always astounded at the amount of cleaning you do - I know you have a house full of boys which probably means quite a bit of mess, but does it all really need to be done all the time? As long as your not falling over things, and the kitchen/ bathroom are hygienic enough, then maybe other things could be done a bit less often? Our kitchen floor gets a quick wipe round a couple of times a week at the most - yep it's a bit dusty but so what? We don't eat off it! It just seems to me that you're setting yourself very high standards, and maybe other things need to take priority - i.e. sorting out your business, doing things as a family.

Phew am cream crackered now. List completed, even sowed some peas
Was thinking about walking to junior school to do first school run, I normally drive.......but it's so nice fancied some more sunshine. Although the walk itself is alongside a very busy road so not exactly picturesque

Hi Everyone, so sorry to hear about Bailey and his sister
Souk, both my parents and OH parents are like that - not wanting to worry anyone or impose. I think it must be a generational thing. Very difficult though. (((Hugs))) to you.
(((Hugs))) to you MemoryGirl, I hope that you start getting your energy levels up soon. At least it feels like spring has sprung now
I am hanging in there, bit of a pants week. OH stressy, few rows. Just 2 weeks until I go to Kampala. The transition periods are the hardest. Off to see my parents in N. Ireland tomorrow. Hope they behave and don't stress at me about the wedding. Had a few crazy calls of my Mum lately.
Best wishes everyone.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Hello Matrix peeps. Feeling rather blue at the moment.
Remember that job I went for, which was just perfect for me? Well, they have declined to even interview me. I had tried not to think about it, but I got more and more excited about the possibilities. I am feeling more than a little pants at the moment, although I am sure the Universe has its reasons for me not to go. So now, I have to get excited about moving somewhere in the local area. Sigh.
Will be back feeling positive in the morning, no doubt, but feel pretty crap at the moment."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440
