Hello Matrix peeps. Feeling rather blue at the moment.

Remember that job I went for, which was just perfect for me? Well, they have declined to even interview me. I had tried not to think about it, but I got more and more excited about the possibilities. I am feeling more than a little pants at the moment, although I am sure the Universe has its reasons for me not to go. So now, I have to get excited about moving somewhere in the local area. Sigh.

Will be back feeling positive in the morning, no doubt, but feel pretty crap at the moment.

Aww Crickett, well its their loss and the Universe obviously has far greater things in store for you. xx

Oh Crickett, sorry to hear that *hugs* Hopefully once the initial :( has passed, you can see what it was that attracted you to that job and go searching for it elsewhere.

Crickett - huge hugs for you xxx I know how you feel. I'd got myself imagining not having to work if my H had got his promotion :o How bad is that I was disappointed and I wasn't even the one being let down :o:o I am sure the Universe has other plans, let yourself feel sad and then move on xx

I have no stopped all afternoon. Didn't walk to first school run and jolly glad I didn't as when we came back from second school run I baked chocolate and nut brownies and choc chip twinks, prepped everything for tea and washed up several times. I need a stiff drink and I lie down :o

Claire - It may sound a silly question but ... where does the mess come from. You are a family, you are a team, can you angle it in a 'fun' way (well as fun as cleaning up after yourself can be ;)), that everyone is in charge of their own mess. If everything has a place ... like dirty clothes in washing basket (dual one with lights and darks) and rubbish goes in the bin, dirty plates go in the dishwasher (or there is a plate washing rota), would this make things easier.

It is unfair that the bulk of this cleaning comes down to you - there are four of you at home and as the others have said you work (at your business and as a carer for your Mum and a carer for your boys (all three of them)).

Sooo, your challenge if you accept is how to see this scheme to 'your men'!!!

I've just listened to this interview with Byron Katie, learned a couple of really important things about myself and thought maybe some of you would be interested in hearing it too.

I think the link will change at midnight tonight to the next speaker in the series so you may want to download the interview before then if you want to listen to it later.

I'll be back later to catch up with you all.
