Ooh - anywhere near CAT??? I love there (even though I have only been once), I marvelled at the fact that the composting toilets don't smell at all :)

    or near the Red Kites???

... think I have lowered the tone ... nite nite y'all

    NL x

p.s. Does Moo travel? You could come to FW for the weekend (maybe???). Her LB would love Moo (and I would too) ...

Don't start Cheri talking about the Red Kites again! I'm SOOOOO jealous of other people's exciting bird-life! Mind you, in 6 weeks time we will be in the Hebrides watching Golden eagles on an almost daily basis so :T for that!

Should be a productive day here today as my Avon courier delivery is due at some stage so I have been up since before 7 just in case he was earlier than expected. Already got quite a few things marked off my list, just having a short break on here before cracking on with stuff. :D

Hope everyone has the glorious sunshine we have today - looks beautiful out there, although I suspect cold!

Ooooh lucky you! I'd love to see a Golden Eagle in the flesh :D

Most exotic birds we've had in our garden were a kingfisher (no ponds in the vicinity so must have been lost - didn't hang around long) and a pheasant. Saw owls fly over the house the night we came to view it and we have bats in the evening during the summer :T

Gorgeous sunshine, off to walk round Earlswood lakes with my mum this morning, feed the ducks and a sneaky cup of tea at local craft centre.
Housework and the usual stuff when I get back.

wishing you all a positive day :D

    Hello Everyone

Gorgeous sunshine here too. My exam got moved to next week at the last minute (stressful) but it also means I've got an unexpected day off - bliss! Yesterday I went shopping with my two friends to get bridesmaid dresses. We found a range where you can pick different styles of dress and then they come in the same colour. They found beautiful Grecian style dresses that flatter their figures perfectly. The prices were about double the budget in the shop, but I have found a place in the US that is a lot cheaper, even with the import duties. Fingers crossed.

Today I am helping out OH and dealing with a tidal wave of 'life administration' (!) Love to all.

    Morning all!

Lovely sunshine here today. On the bird front, saw two buzzards circling over the house yesterday.

I can't remember who was talking about knitting a while back; I've been doing a bit again but only little things as I just don't have the time for big projects (and cupboard is full of jumpers). My current project is knitted food for my daughter to have picnics with her toys and friends, using Jean Greenhowe's designs for sandwiches etc. They are great fun, really quick and use scraps of wool and the patterns are all free, see here if anyone is interested.

    Have a good day all!
  • Morning Matrix (just!) Having a productive and busy day at work today. One of my colleagues is winding me up something chronic today, but I am trying not to let it bother me just at the moment. It is a bright and sunny day. On days like this i wish I was in the garden rather than in the office. Hopefully I will be able to get out and do some this weekend.

Hubby is working all hours today so suspect I shall have an evening to myself at home. I think I will spend it doing quite a bit of cleaning and tidying, and then curl up with a cup of tea and my Kindle for the rest of the evening. No TV. I am finding the more I watch, the higher my blood pressure goes. Not sure what I am going to eat. Don't fancy pancakes tonight really, so will make something quick which will do me for lunch tomorrow as well.

Right, best get back to work. Good positive vibes to everybody and hugs to everyone who needs them! :D

As I type, I am watching several red kites flying outside my office window. Not too far from CAT and I completely understand, it is one of my "take visitors to" places. Although Nany yr Arian - the red kite centre is closer to me, I will be passing there on my way to a presentation in a couple of hours and pass several times a week. The Kites from there are the ones that I am watching at the moment. Builiding up for feeding time. I am just over the mountain :)

Sorry EH, you have me sussed, I can talk about red kites all day. I am so lucky! I was swooped by a red kite in the forest at the weekend! Think it was a baby. I also regularly see barn owls along the lanes here. I love golden eagles too but havent seen so many of those. Lucky you the Hebrides soon.

Cold but very sunny here today. Good to be alive kinda day. I am even enjoying rewriting my presentations. :rotfl::rotfl:

    Well Good morning

Blue skies and sun here again today, washing on the line, just going to have a tidy around and get dressed, then find batteries for the camera so I can get stuff on ebay :)
