  • Another one holding their hand up to CHAOS syndrome but am working on it.

Manic start to the week here - dd missed school bus - is now walking (maybe she'll listen to Mum in future - ok doubt that). Just found that she'd left her straighteners on - ggggrrrrrrrr teenagers .

Just have to deliver ds to the disability and work course - he nearly walked out half way through last week so don't know how this week is going to pan out - we'll see.

    Right, off to it.

No CHAOS here - I have an obssesive streak. Also find the idea of a get together enticing - and Cheri, if I remember right, you are near here. In fact we can consider a Manc branch of the Matrix with affiliates within so many miles.

  • Good Morning to the Matrix. Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

I can see the end of the tunnel re budgeting at work. I have all the data in... I just now need to extract it, check that it makes some kind of sense (which at the moment, it actually seems to... which makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. I am used to everything not adding up at all!! :D). I need to let the "powers that be" know what the numbers are and then I can get on with getting the medium term planning model up and running.

Then at home... well. I have tonnes to do. I have painting of the hallway (ugh) and weeding the garden and putting the greenhouse back together, and getting some bedding plants in for colour. Then I have to clear the back path way to the gate, tidy it all up and put a fresh layer of pebbles down on the "beds". We also have two cordylines which have been killed by the winter cold which need to be cut down and dug out, and I have some other shrubs which didn't survive the winter as well. And that's before I get on top of the washing and ironing, start the decluttering, sort out the loft, and get the house on the market for sale.

The sun is out today, so I have a lot of energy which is just as well with that to do list! :D

Lots of love to everyone. Take care and positive vibes to the Universe for all the Matrix.

Thanks NL. Unfortunately I also need to extract the house from CHAOS (love it) and we have no lawn!!! I may hold you to the offer at some point in the future though, should my organisational skills for this house return and the will to do it follows thereafter.

SIlly o'clock Cheri, is Moo still unhappy?

I must confess, I cannot claim the glory for CHAOS theory - I think it is a Flylady term (I found her back in 2002 ... so I know that simply printing off the pages and putting them in a folder doesn't work ;))

And having no lawn ... well that is just a feeble excuse.

Yeah to a meet up FW - we can discuss bikes and growing older disgracefully (I've made a lot of progress on this recently :)). It's even nearly normal time in Florida i.e. 7.30am. Shame I come home on Wed eve :( when my body clock has just adjusted itself ...

Bitsy - I don't know where you live, but if you ever fancy coming to visit Jodrell Bank (and give me notice so I can extract my place out of CHAOS (i.e. can't have anyone over syndrome)), I have space for a family to stay.

And you could come to tea with Pickle, Dedicated, FW, maybe Cheery and me :)

p.s. and the MOSI is brill for anyone who likes machines, trains etc (it is free) ... er and it's in the metropolis with the shoe and bag shops!!!!

Ooooh I love Jodrell Bank :D
And the idea of a meet up :D

Afternoon ladies. Done my usual weekly food shop, sun is out and it's blue skies as far as the eye can see :T:T I do love my seasons and I am fortunate enough not to be affected by SAD but it's amazing how sunshine can make you feel good.

Not much going on (apart from the usual rota of housework and keeping DD entertained).

I love the Flylady website although at times it a bit too twee even for me :o Not quite in CHAOS but always feel are only a couple steps away from it :rotfl:

Have great day everyone, lots of positive vibes and sunshine if you haven't got any :)

No Fanatasia, the radio is working thanks. That was me being UP. Think that I am letting work get to me. Woke up thinking about something and had to get up. I sneaked into my office so I didnt wake Moo but no worries as I could hear him snoring his head off :)

    Good morning

Another lovely crisp day here again :) blue skies and sun, although it was quite chilly when I was putting towels on the line at 7.15 this morning.

Having a lazy hour then going to strip the beds while we have the weather to dry outside :) Then I am going to photograph some beading supplies to go on ebay and the website.
