Oh darn it, are you SURE a budget is a limit not a target? That's where I go wrong every year0

:rotfl:Yup Kittikins, I am totally sure!!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Heck, that's why I can never save any pennies, I just feel like I need to spend them ALL, not let ANY of them roll over0

But if it is a limit KK then you are not doing anything wrong spending up to it. It is when you go over it that the problems start :rotfl::rotfl:

Ah that where it gets even more complicated!
When you work in the Public Sector it doesn't even roll over, it gets snaffled up by Central Finance! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Hi guys,
just back from my travels and all is well here. But the cold is certainly coming - so shower and bed with a good and useful book for me.

As she's your boss shouldn't she already know this?
Ah the joys of year end......my old work had a no time off in April edict which meant I could never book H's birthday off
thanks for the positive vibes for H. Interview ended up being rescheduled for 11am  Anyway 'tis done now, he's no idea how he's done but he thinks it went OK. Will hopefully find out if he's progressed to second interviews end of next week.
Sun came out this afternoon :j So spent a few hours in the back gardenDug in some manure into veggie patch, separated my raspberry canes from last year (bought them and just shoved them into the ground
). They might not survive as I've moved them and now pruned them - have no idea what I am doing when it comes to those
It was lovely to be out in the sunshine, being productive and it looks a wee bit tidier out there too after some cutting back and digging.
Only problem is now I am cream crackered and I've got the ironing to do tonight <sigh> H is working late and tomorrow so didn't want him slogging away doing it on Sunday and we have 2 basket loads  DS is spending the night at Granny's house so DD will go to bed around 7pm which gives me a few hours to get some ironing done. Might have to have a wee tipple to help me through it
have a fantastic Friday night

Yes, she should. But she doesn't understand numbers.
She's not an accountant, she's the Head of Something or Other.
Year End. Yuck - that's worse than Budgets which is what we're doing at the moment.

((((matrix ladies))))))) sorry, I'm dashing through this week, doing lots of fieldwork for work, so trailing around the country on trains, and I've not long got in, and going back out in an hour or two, and I'd REALLY like to get something done other than staring at the computerHope you all have lovely fabulous weekends xx

I can't have holiday ever in the beginning of the month as we are always then in the middle of month end. So in the summer when my friend is with her family in France in a cottage that they got dirt cheap and have spare bedroom for me BF and DD we can't go because I can't get time off from work.
Anyway, we are looking to get something for us to stay during the previous week so that will be still nice."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
