Woo Crickett, that's brilliant - good luck!
Love the big doggy photo
I'm feeling quite positive today - productive counselling session yesterday. I didn't enjoy it at the time but came out, did some (restrained) shopping and had an impromptu night out with Mr S which was lovely. Trying to be calm, confident and positive about work.. and it's working so farDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Crickett, sending a wish to universe for the job. If it feels like 'your' job it is highly likely it will work.
Me? Well, I am getting high on coffee; invisioning the presentation and the faces around; went for a walk but it is cold and I don't have a hat (hypohondriac with mild cold and no hat - bad).
Meeting my hosts soon. Tonight I am planning to do an exercise to decide what I really, really want and start building plans to achieve it. And the discipline to implement the plan, of course.

I have just completed my job application (Letter and CV) in under an hour. Record time, and holy moley... even if I do say so myself, it looks pretty darn good!
Thanks so much for all your positive vibes. Good Luck Firewalker in both the presentation and the strategy.
TMIF, the job is Head of Finance and Administration at the Royal School of Church Music in Salisbury. A bit different from what I am doing now!"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
I'd say that definitely sounds like your job Crickett - go get 'em girl :T.
Oooh Firewalker - is it a structured exercise that you are working through or just you and your thoughts. I only ask because I am working through exactly the same thing at the moment. Good luck for your presentation.
I might start a thread on t'other side called "So tell me what you want, what you really, really want..." Firewalker could be Sporty Spice; any other offers.
At the moment I look like a snowman - my kitchen looks like the winter's snow has returned and I'm sitting here wondering why I didn't marry a painter and decorator. Well one and a half door frames sanded so far. Next the skirting boards then the door panels.
Later peeps x0 -
