Memorygirls Mum here.
She has been challenged to go a whole week on a "low information diet". That means no email, no mobile phone, no internet and no television or radio.
She has got lots of things done in the house and with the boys, but I know she is itching to get back online as she wants to source an aquarium pump for a project with her wee ones and keeps saying "I should tell Firewalker this, or ClootiesMum need to her that" hahaha.
The house is covered in Mind Maps - so I am sure she will have loads to tell you when we let her have her laptop back.

Looks like MG tricked her mum into popping online for her - I'm sure that might count as cheating! :rotfl: Thanks for the update though - gosh, can you imagine how much we'd all get done in a week without internet?!?!  I know how much I can do in an hour without it! :eek:0

Hi MG's Mum, thanks for the update and hope you are feeling better.
It was strange to see that post as I was just about to put that I've almost got my house sorted out after the blip I had before Christmas (very low and lethargic). I only have the kitchen to tackle on a major blitz and that's next week. But today is the last odds and ends of everywhere else, the dregs of paperwork and .......... drum roll I am staying away today until I've done it:beer: Watch this space.Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Congrats on the work experience Pickle!
Thanks for the update MG's mum - I love the sound of a technology free week.. once the withdrawal symptoms had worn off anyway!
I feel like a lot has happened in the last few days - I had a bad day at work on Monday, nothing horrendous, but a mistake I'd made.. and really started beating myself up about it. That night I had some very upsetting dreams about some things to do with my past/ family, which have got me thinking about a lot of issues. I've taken the scary step of asking for an appointment with our staff counselling service, and am now on the waiting list (currently an 8 week wait).
I've also managed to negotiate a full & final settlement for one of my debts, saving myself £400 in the process
And I've made a good start on the first assignment for my OU course - really enjoying getting stuck into it.
Have a good day everyone xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

You under estimate your achievements!

I second this. Claire you always sound so busy, you achieve far more than I doMemory_Girl wrote: »Memorygirls Mum here.

Nice to see you online MGs mum. Hope you're feeling better
Been to Hobbycraft and bought some bits I need to use for my Big Shot die cutting machine so if I pull my finger out this morning I should have a couple of hours this afternoon to have a play around (DD depending of course).
Slept well but still feel tired, think I need more sun. Still feeling more energised than I did yesterday so that's a good thing
