Good grief EH take that embarrassed look off your face immediately woman! That's an order! (albeit a nice and kind and cheery one :D). Don't be cross at yourself - just think how much *better* your next 100 day challenge will be! :j :j And heaven forbid we start revoking memberships in here on the basis of something so frivolous as not making an effort at one thing in your life  There's plenty of us who would be out on our ears if that was the case I'm sure :D

Sounds like you're making good progress now though, well done! :j

EH - You shouldn't feel bad and there is no question of us not having you back.....infact it was never in doubt that you weren't with us IYSWIM. As for the challenges......well I've done about 50/50 with the whole losing weight being as usual the biggest downfall. But hey ho I consider it all a work in progress ;) Well done on what you've accomplished so far, doesn't sound like an abysmal failure to me :D

Ditto, ditto, and treble ditto what Cheery said.
Its taken me 4 years to get off my bum and follow my instincts, and would'nt even have done that if it hadnt been for the encouragement on the thread.
When it came to the challenge, I managed about half of what I set out to achieve.

EH, I'm lurking on here, and abandoned the last challenge almost immediately - as the work on the house unfolded, it showed me what I had to do, if you know what I mean, and any challenge imposed on it was counter productive. And I got so sick, of course, that any challenge was useless - been a few too many challenges in my life these last few years! I've never 'fessed up to it all in one post, tho, so here I am, hoping all is well, and being *fairly* sure it is .... nobody moans at me for only posting once a week on here or so .... :)

  • Fantasia, and Claire and Memory Girl, and lots of other people...Yay for your news.

Clooties Mum, and everyone experiencing painful anniversaries, lots of hugs.

Sorry I haven't been around much this week. Been really, really poorly, and indeed still am. Feeling pants, at home, got antibiotics and a "fit note" from the doctor. 2 week off work ill - geez... that is the worst I have ever been. I have acute laryngitis and croup. Nice. Not!

Anyway, back to bed for more sleep! :) Hope everyone else avoids this bug like the plague! :D

Oh cricket (((((((((crickett))))))))) you look after yourself. Is this connected do you think with the rotten time you had last week?? You poor thing! :(

Fantasia! Hope Leyla is with you now :D
  • hi, i haven't posted on this thread before but am a self-confessed lurker!

just wanted to say I am desperate to see some piccies of Leyla! greyhounds are my breed of choice but I can certainly appreciate how exciting it is to get a new rescue dog and know that you will be giving them an infinitely better life than what they had before.

hope she settles well in her new home. however nice the home, it must be terrifying for them in the first few days :o but I am sure she will be putting on weight and coming out of her shell in no time.

I only have my dog part time at the mo but hope to have one all to myself before too long. I rescued a greyhound from the middle of the road once, she now lives with my mum so i see her lots (I was working too many silly hours at the time!). She was so skinny when she arrived and so shy. But she was also a big flirt with my dad :rotfl: and she settled in well.

    good luck xxx
