Not really. Have been unable to do much to help the Matrix, it's token compared to what some people and MG can put in.0 -
:T Fantasia that is a fab offer !!! :j :A
Lovely offer. Does he know :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Perhaps you could start your own LETS system up there. Few hours joinery for a memory course!
For anybody who doesnt know what a LETS is then check out here They are great to be part of. Unfortunately there are none near me. If I had more time I would start one. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Yep, he knows. He does it often for friends. Obviously it has to happen outwith his work hours. I never thought of a trade of skills though. OH is'nt the one who needs training lol.
He fitted a whole kitchen, hob, sink, tiles and floor last month for a donation to great dane rescue. Cheque sent yesterday.
Edit to add though he often donates his time for free especially if it means its helping someone or passing on skills0 -

Claire how is DS doing with the greenhouse he got for Xmas, I remember you got loads of seeds from the site I posted, think they were 20p a packet then. Just wanted to say happy growing. Should keep him well interested for the season.
His greenhouse is up, will take a photo in the week and post it to show you, he was chuffed to buts with it.
He also had a mini greenhouse for indoor growingwhich has been filled with seeds, he planted radishes and they have grown loads already
not sure what to do with them now, will have to look it up on google, he is well chuffed, his broad beans are starting to sprout too.

How lovely Fantasia. Have you had them round to chat to you yet? I thought about volunteering to be a home checker. You get to take your dane to the peoples house and see them go  when you walk in. Really funny.
It sounds like your OH would benefit from being in a lets scheme. (sorry dont know what happened to the link - thanks tmif) if he is oftern doing things for people. It basically works on banking time and then claiming it back when things needed. It doesnt have to be claimed back from the person that he has done the work from it goes into a central bank if you see what I mean. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. MG - Many garden centres have seeds on offer at the moment.
However, the cheapest I have found is Netto with seeds at 19p. Aldi and Lidl are also competitive.

p.s. Do you have allotments or garden clubs near you - the one near my OH has a shed where they sell bargain compost and plants that members have grown on.0
