Good Morning
I woke up with a headache from hell this morning, so once the boys went to school I took myself back to bed, now I'm behind on everything, never mind I will get there.
JC - hope the interview went well
MG wow you have done loads this morning, I haven't started, well that's a lie i emptied the dishwasher when I got up with the boys refilled it and put it back on, put towels from machine in tumble and some washing on the rads.
Not much to be done today as I did loads yesterday, just a few clothes to be put away.
Jacks wound is looking much better this morningdrying up nicely and the antibiotics must be starting to work as he is now not boiling to to touch
I had my first jewellery commission of the year yesterday so a nice little challenge to doI was feeling the pressure yesterday cause I didn't think I could come up with the design. But with a little chat to another beader friend last night, I'm now looking forward to doing it
Right off for a shower, have a quick tidy and put more washing on, then the rest of the day is mineBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -

Yip I'm a mornin' person too...
Slightly later getting started tho' today, slept thro' the alarm and woke an hour later in a panic at quarter to 8 (don't you just hate that feeling).
So only 1.5 hours painting so far today plus all the usual food, dishes, washing malarkey. Planning another hour before lunch and then it's only the walls to be painted :j. The woodwork is glossed, the ceiling is painted and the walls are lined and undercoated. See me I lurve decorating - well I do when I think about the £15 an hour that I am saving.
MG - remember those baby-steps lady, one at a time. Seriously, you've been battered and bruised lately, so easy does it.
Was thinking about your stud-wall and plastering conundrum. Do you have a building college near you. If so could you go and make friends with the lecturers and offer your room for the lads to learn their skills (ooooooooo that sounds soooooo wrong :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but you know what I mean, similar to when you get your hair cut by a trainee).
Right ho, tea-break over, my paint brushes are calling.0 -
Thrifty - I'd pay you £10 an hour and all the Twinks' you can eat to come and paint my hovel
MG - enjoy the "free" time without DS2, as adorable as all our children undoubtedly are, we can find ourselves completely immersed in the mother role rather than being us, don't feel guilty, he's having fun and so should you - whether you find fun in making money or having a cup of tea with a good friend...0 -

However, this is seriously important stuff that I am doing and I know it is going to be appreciated when it is done, but ladies... I need positivity. Actually, i need to borrow spare brain cells and have a HUGE amount of energy coming in some form or another. I'll see you again after Wednesday ladies, as I really need to concentrate on getting the to do list down to a manageable size.
Holy carp you guys are good!!:D:D:beer::j:j:j:beer:
Not only have I finished the piece of work with the impossible deadline... I have done so 24 hours ahead of schedule. And there is no way on earth I could have done it without loan of your brain cells and positivity. Thank you."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
