  • Have tried to avoid getting involved but I am so pleased things seem to be sorting out now.

    My positive things today
Have been in touch with several old friends this week, some I haven't seen for over 30 years. We are going to meet up soon and I am so excited - new "virtual" friends here and catching up with old friends too - what more could a girl want ? :)

Thanks girls, I do feel so silly but also am wondering what's going on......he came over Monday afternoon for a couple of hours and everything was wonderful, then I feel like he's just been going through the motions the rest of this week.....and I know he's not feeling great today (he has a major illness and had a nasty procedure yesterday so told me he was feeling sore earlier today), so I shall take your advice and switch my phone off I think......and just panic that my message asking him if he's annoyed with me WILL make him annoyed, lol.

tenmah - I feel like you do at the moment!

Well there you go then Kittikins, he's probably feeling darn rotten, and the best thing you can do is say 'hope you're ok sweetheart, thinking of you', and not ask anything further of him. If you're worried about your earlier message, perhaps just a quick one saying 'sorry, was feeling a bit down there for a while, hope you're ok, get in touch when you feel better' - and THEN switch your phone off :)

Cherisong , I'm laughing at your parrot! :rotfl:

    Good evening.

I have had a text from MG saying she is back at hospital with her mum so will be off again for a while.

On a positive note I have practically got through all the washing.
Allocated my sale buys for all birthdays throughout the year and have stuff left for next xmas too.
washed all floors again, the house is clean and tidy.

MG - hugs for you and your mum xx
  • Glad all is sorted in Matrix land - I'm back from my Exercise class and apart from having a bad cough (more from doing a 30 minute walk in 20 in freezing cold weather) I feel really good - even if I'm unable to get some of the moves right as I have a bad sense of direction :(

Thanks Cheery although I am not quite sure what happened there. I pressed submit and you and Kittikins were below me and answered! I think I entered a time warp there.
Loving your response. I stopped myself from posting what I really wanted to Kittikins because I was trying to lighten your mood with the Bridget Jones quote but I second what Cheery says. I have learned (from experience) that men are quite straightforward creatures and it is us women that get things all complicated. He is probably just feeling a bit rough and he may have been worrying about his procedure hence him being off. Just be open and honest with him.

I have plenty of weaknesses, but irrationalness in relationships isn't one of them :D Glad to be of assistance  Enjoy your G&T!
