TMIF,
Two of my kitties (Mo and Florence) came as a package deal. Florence (Flossie to her devoted fans!) is Mum to Flo. And then about 10 years in, we got Alfie as a black and white ball of fluff. He is now utterly huge and he hero worships Flossie! It is so cute to watch.
Initally, Flossie and Mo were not overly chuffed with an interloper being around, but they have got quite used to him now. It took about 6 months for things to work out. Sometimes it can work out really well and they jsut rub along brilliantly from the word go. My boss has 6 cats, and whenever a new kitten is introduced all the others just kind of roll their eyes and get on with it!
Hmmm... going to try and post a piccie of my furry ones...!
ETA: I can't seem to post piccies, which is annoying. Nevermind.Trust me... they are VERY cute and fluffy!

**strolls in a bit sheepishly**
All sorted with MrA now......the date tonight is postponed *sob* but there's a good reason for it as he's having a nasty episode of his illness, and he can't function too well:(We have had a good chat about everything and I'm a happy bunny again! I guess it's just something I need to factor in to our friendship, that he's going to have bad times and I need to not take things too personally (one of my many failings, lol) At least he's putting a smile back on my face, and is saying all the right things today to reassure me that I'm wonderful
Thank you all for putting up with me last night!!0 -

KC - what a lovely thing to say. Thank you.
Kittikins - we have all been there, got the tshirt. Just try relaxing into it and you will be fine. Remember men are not really complicated creatures, its women that do the complicating, and you should be fine. If he isnt feeling up to going out tonight and is a bit poorly why not do something extra nice for him even if you are not seeing/spending time with him. You could send him flowers (some men quite like the quirkiness and unexpected) or even just make him a meal, take it round and drop it off and say that you didnt want him to be hungry but you wont stay to disturb him. I am sure that you could think of something that would cheer him up. Bet he would really appreciate that.
What kind of things do you ladies like your man to do to surprise you? - I love it when I get a text in the middle of the day with nothing other than X or a smiley it makes me grin and brightens my day.
What about any men lurking? MIKE!!!!!!! -- come on give us ladies a clue - what would you like a lady to do to make you smile unexpectedly.
What kind of romantic things have you done for your OH. Or what have you done that you thought was romantic but didnt have the desired effect.
This Christmas because I was short on funds I bought a big jar and I put 365 reasons why I love you on little notes into the jar. I added glitter confetti, little IOU cheques, romantic quotes and some little print outs of photos from our trips. A handmade tag on the outside saying "How do I love thee, let me count the ways" finished it off nicely Mr C said it was the best present he had ever had! I will be trying to think up more things like this so would love your input. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

What a lovely thoughtful idea! Your post really made me think...... We so often take our OH's for granted and can only think about their annoying, irritating bits.

What a lovely present to give your OH cheri
I did my exOH a chequebook of things like make him breakfast in bed, massage, watch Formula 1 without complaining, other *favours*
Yes, I am feeling very relaxed at the moment, when we chatted, I explained about the carppy day I'd had with work/worrying about DD and how that, coupled with feeling like he was backing off, had made me turn things in on myself and get a bit loopy. He just said "but you don't need to feel like that, you've got me here for you".0 -
Morning Bitsy
I will dig the pliers out later and measure them and count how many I have (loads lol) I'm fed up of losing them. As a thought jewellery rolls would be nice too if you could make them, we could link websites I supply the jewellery, you the rollsand little organzer bags.
Now that sounds like a plancrickett1234 wrote: »Right, I need some positive vibes as well please... I have tonnes of work to do, and I know some of it is going to test my mettle and it is going to be tricky, so any assistance you could provide would be gratefully received! Thanks!
