  • Did you survive work?
  • I think I understand why he's an ex xxx

    Well that, and he decided he preferred blokes to women. :eek:

    That does some serious damage to the self esteem, let me tell you!! :D However, soon after, I met my Hubby. After checking very carefully that he did not have more toiletries than I did... and other subtle hints were lacking... I decided he would do! :D

    No! I am still here... but I am being taken out tonight by hubby - dinner and a classical music concert, so I am waiting for the clock to get to 6pm and then I shall saunter over to the restaurant! :)

    And I am seriously looking forward to a glass of wine! :D

    I love the way the conversation is going today, especially the sound of the 'slap' jar ;) Maybe as part of divorce therapy, wounded partners should do a slap jar, I see a gap in the market!!

    I'm hoping to go over to MrA's tonight for a bit of nursing him better if I can get a babysitter having cancelled previous plans, yawn......so will make sure I check out his bathroom cupboards! Yes, I know......he's too ill to go out, but apparently a home visit is very much in order :)

    I did just have to pop into the bathroom and do a little audit.

    I have shampoo, shower gel and moisturiser

    He has shaving gel, shower gel, various boy beauty creams, NIVEA :eek::eek:, etc etc etc...

    I paint him in a bad light don't I! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Some boys like slaps - there's a gap in the market for that too

  • Oh... you can tell its a Friday, can't you?!! :)

    I think the "key signal" was when the bloke told me he had slept with another bloke. The funny bit (now... not then... then it was bloody devestating) was when he looked shocked when I told him to stick our relationship where the monkey sticks his nuts and get the &*(% out of my sight. :D That was my first ever boyfriend. He was a good Irish Catholic boy, I took him home to meet my family, they were thrilled i had found someone who was Catholic!! So it was a bit of a shock to them when I introduced my hubby to them... who at the time was a practising agnostic!! :D He converted before we got married, and I hasten to add it was at his behest, not mine!! :D:D Hubby is MUCH better for me than the other dweeb though.
