I think it will be easiest if I commit to running only the courses I have got interest in - for instance there is still interest in London and Newcastle.
When things have settled down can then reschedule the others for later in the year - or just offer them online IYSWIM.
No idea how I'm going to juggle this all to be honest - so bear with me for a while.

MG,
Just seen the latest developments on both your Mum (at least she is home...hope she is getting better!) and the school. What a nightmare.
However, it struck me... the new government is setting up free schools... any chance of you developing one with the other families effected by the school closure? I am sure the Department of education and skills, or whatever it is currently called, would have information for you. You could get really involved with the kids - especially teaching them how to learn properly with mindmaps and stuff. While investigating things, you could home school DS1, and then maybe when the new school is up and running, it could become the world HQ for your online webinars ad lectures and stuff.
Oooh, just had another idea... what about investigating the possiblity of setting up a Montessori Education system done online. Access to tutors and tasks and whatnot, but all on line. It would seriously appeal to people who are stuck up mountains/in the boonies/sick of the state education system... and it would be international. What do you think?
Claire... glad to see you back here."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440 -
Good morning.
Glad you feel more positive now MG, I always wanted to be a teacher, but had Ben insteadGot the qualifiucations to go onto teacher training but have never persued it.
Well I'm also doing 15 min jobs todayMy hip is playing up with vengance.
not sure whether its the wii fit, or the injection wearing off or the fact I've put weight on, or a bit of everything.
I've not got much to do to be honest as DH had a good clean through yesterday, so its just little bits. I've washed worktops in kitchen (do this every morning as I have cats who like jumping up on them when they arn't being watched lol) emptied cat litter and swept floor, kitchen done
Got 2 loads of washing to do and the rug and floors to hoover in the living dining room thats my cleaning done(Bathroom is gleaming from the clean yesterday).
My new years resolution this year is not to bust a gut cleaning as last year I was spending loads of time doing it . The boys have to do their bedrooms this year properly when asked or they are going to find themselves grounded and no xbox (no xbox kills them lol). plus things like putting dishes in the dishwasher and not leaving dishes on the worktops or walking past the dishwasher and dumping them in the sink.
Dh put the new unit together in the dining room yesterday, so I'm going to potter around putting ornaments in it and transfering stuff from the old unit etc. The only thing left to do in the dining room now is a piece of coving, new skirting boards on the bay area and new blinds
Do you remember Nathan being attacked in Sept last year on his way home from school? well the police officer came yesterday to say that they had traced the car but it was a female owner and that she knew nothing of it, also described her ex who was driving it, descriptions didn't match so the case is being filed, last time she came Dh was papering the living roomshe said how lovely it looked here when she came in
, was well chuffed

Morning folks,
I know I've been AWOL for a while but I've been lurking - just not had time to post. Work is REALLY busy & will be so for the rest of this month at least - and although DH believes I just sit in chair & look @ computer screens all day (therefore it's not proper work) I can assure you it is draining......
So - catch up time
MG - glad your Mum is out of hospital & I hope they find the cause asap - not knowing is hell. And the school - well, b****r me is all I can think of to say but I agree with fantasia - how many others are affected & can you run a Montessori style home ed group for all the kids affected in the school building?
FW - glad DS is back home - there are a lot of nasty bugs going round at the moment up here so I don't suppose it would be any different where you are
And your post about getting your dream a few days after your Dad passed made me cry - bad FW
Claire - glad to see you back
Fantasia - DH managed to get the car out to get to Kirkcaldy today but I've got to get to Rosyth tomorrow - maybe I should leave now??
Anyhow - not much has been happening in my wee corner of the world. I bought us both soup flasks after New Year & we've been taking DH HM soup in to respective works for lunch/breakfast/snacks (the flasks hold 1 litre). Brilliant idea of mine, even if I say so meself
Also, I've been reading the Happiness Project that someone mentioned here - thansk to whoever - it's a great book, nice & light & fun & inspirational - just what I need
But today is an organising day - need to clean house, chickens, iron & stuff like that so the week goes smoothly
Will catch up here from time to time
Have a good one folksDebts 07/12/2021
