I did the farmers market this morning, In the week I sorted through all the jewellery and sorted it into boxes of anything over 6+month old into one box and new jewellery into another. For tonight MG, drink the wine, chill out and try to not think about it. Tomorrow you can start to put things into action. Nothing worse than worrying about things as soon as they happen. All will turn out for the best. Maybe research other home ed groups in the area. There is no rush. He has many years of learning ahead of him and in the meantime I have no doubts that you will be able to sort something out. How about an aupair that is taking a year out before training to be a teacher or something along those lines? Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0

Arrgghhh - I'm so cross for you MG. You have put your heart and soul into that school, finding a new building, packing up, moving, redecorating, not to mention all the shenanigans with the old head and her hubby. More than a day's notice would at least be common courtesy if nothing else .
Glad the wine is hitting the spot - I'm sat here with a glass of Pinot Grigio myself.
Home schooling - don't know much about it but Education Otherwise springs to mind.0 -
SNOWING AGAIN ...................... I mean REALLY snowing!!!
For tonight - wine is the plan:D
Actually got hold of DK "Carol Vorderman's Key Stage 2 workbooks" over Chrimbo. If he has to be at that standard by highschool then it is doable - he has already covered so much of the work.
Mr B just laughed and said "its going to be such a great book isn't it?" - he has utter faith that a way will present itself ............... optomism or insanity? ................ discuss :rotfl:
