  • Feeling more positive this morning! Sorry for being a grumpy guts yesterday.

Second Carol Concert went incredibly well last night and so I only have one final singing engagement which is Midnight Mass tomorrow night. I am shattered though, so I am going to be asking my boss if I can take half a days leave today and tomorrow and just cash in my chips for the rest of the year!! :D I have the spare leave... and I need to curl up in a corner somewhere and sleep! We did manage to get home, but some of the roads were really dicey. Same thing this morning as well. Dicey roads again, but passable with care and so I am in the office at the usual time. Not that anybody else is!! :)

I don't know how connected to the internet I am going to be over the next week or so, so I just wanted to wish all of the Matrix and yor families and friends the very best for Christmas and the New Year. Take care everyone and see you in 2011 (or sooner, possibly!! :D)

:rudolf:Aww ta, 'sokay, just a little chrimble overwhelmedness, it'll pass...just got to fit in a few jobs on top of work, life etc, etc.

The usual y'know, not enough time to do anything and I don't want to spend christmas day as an exhausted mess, plus I'm feeling guilty for not feeling festive. xx

Had some pancakes and coffee so the world is already feeling a bit better.;)

I have been thinking about this whole Christmas thing. I am not religious so I don't understand why I am being roped into celebrating it and to the present buying frenzy just because everybody else does it.

I am going to declare myself a pagan next year and start my own ritual and do just the minimum fuss for DD. Might not go down well with BF who is very religious but we shall jump over that fence as and when.

    Good morning

plan this morning is to get downstairs ship shape :) then do some baking :) ds1 and 2 have offered to help (if I can prize them off the xbox) then this afternoon baking, tidying and that shouldn't take long with three of us :)

Then there's the huge ironing pile to tackle, next door usually does it for me but their 10 month old has the flu poor thing so wants cuddles all the time :(

Need to go to post office and get my money too, but it's starting to get very slippery out now so might not bother, if I don't have it in my purse I cannot spend it lol.

Had my christmas stress in the last 24 hours. Was doing some sewing to make my home all lovely and my sewing machine broke :(. Had the tears and tantrums and now I am just relaxing - bathroom and kitchen are clean - oh and I have clean bedding - what more does a home need :rotfl:

So a very relaxed and wonderful Christmas wished to all.

Just taking a quick break from all the preparations to wish all matrix mamas and papas and their families a truly wonderful Christmas.

So far everything is on track in our house, although I've cut back a lot this year as hubby is still not mobile. I'm just doing what I can (back is screaming just now) and am determined to have a fun day. This is the first year ever we haven't had a Christmas tree but as I couldn't carry it or set it up I don't feel we have a choice. I'm sure the neighbours would help if I asked, but I'm also sure they have their own jobs to do.

In the true spirit of Christmas - peace and goodwill to all.

    Sue
