Susan, pleased you are back safely. Sounds like a right palaver with the crutches. I hope your hubby gets to see the consultant soon.

Alex, missed the request for positive vibes. Hope it went well. Looking forward to hearing.

Alex - how did it go?? Hopefully you are now out getting "ahem!!!" cheery:D

What a nightmare geting your hubby home from France though, susan946 . Glad he is safely home with you safe and sound now for the festivites.

I've done it - every inch of my hallway is now laminated (not sure that's the right word, but hey ho!!!) Even the bits in the "Cupboard in the lobby" and the wee room under the stairs:j:j. Helen105 has my eternal thanks for turning a grotty dusty space into a welcoming clean one.

The duck egg blue paint is mixed and ready to go - and my lovely Dad is coming over tomorrow to help me finish off a few more maintenance jobs before Xmas. Might even persuade him to distract the wee one so that I can get a coat of paint on the inside of my door.

My dining chairs look fabulous and funky and have enough scraps to make a couple of wee cushions ....................
