I think they mean shape your dough so it fits into a 2lb loaf tin, put it in the tin, and leave it to rise ('prove') until it has a bit of a dome on the top. Does that make more sense?
Good luck!

Re the biking and riding a motorbike, have you thought of doing your trip across the states on a Trike...far easier to ride, just don't forget to put your feet up when you stop so you don't run over them and you can carry stuff on them too. Plus in this country you only need a car licence to ride one, any size engine...I do...well did before I got ill, ...ahem...hence my user name.:D

Thanks Triker, but not the same - I want the whole two wheels, powerful machine, bandana, dust and connection with nature experience.

Oh Claire, that so sad, after all that effort.
My Twinks became a tray bake, they spread everywhere. So cut them up when out of oven and apart from a few lumps of crumbs they are delicious.:jDebt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942

Cat brought in another live mouse, a bit of a stramash ensued, mousie ended up in the bathroom where I chased it into a square plastic bin. Covered it with a magazine to stop it jumping out, and took it outside. All within 10 minutes. (Practice makes perfect)
Mousie brushed my hand as I tipped it out over the fence :eek:, I jumped skyhigh and dropped everything, so now the bin is lying just out of reach on far side of the fence, in deep snow. The neighbour's back garden meets my side fence, so I'll wait till the snow melts down a bit before I go and ask if I can retrieve my wee bin!
Cat is shut in once again....:rotfl::rotfl:If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.
