Clare, go easy on yourself today.

Fantasia, hope you didn't mind me contacting MG, just was on here early for a change! I'm with you on asking for that thaw.

Robsmum, honestly if you think and beleieve things are okay then they will be.

Keep warm and safe all X

Of course not Souk, the important thing is that somebody did contact her.:). And I'm with you on believing that things will be ok.
Positivity works, you just have to practice getting into the mindset.
Its also coming up the anniversary of my mums death - will be 20 years, she was only 52 (same age as I am now) gulp.
I'm blessed to still have my dad and stepmum though.
I've tried to replace the sadness with remembering good things. I don't think you get over it though, just learn to cope with it.
    (((((Hugs))))) to everyone today x

  • How brilliant was that!

It has made me all Christmassy now, and cheered me up - not a good night, didn't get to sleep till gone 4.30, and was up at 7.00 - but that was just the wee shot of good cheer to set me up for the day!

    Thanks MG.

well breadmaker is on with sultana bread on dough setting, going to try and cook in the oven, see if it turns out, following the instructions on my breadmaker liquids go in first.

Dining room cleaned, table polished, just having a hobnob and a coffee before I hoover the floor, still need to clean the windowsill off as well, but starting to get sore so need to sit.

That's so cute! Will be sending the link to various friends in the States who I know will just love it.

Part for the boiler arrived late yesterday - now all we need is our plumber to fix it. Any positive vibes gratefully received!

    Thanks MG.
Can I join in and give you all a secret santa. It involves a bit of work from you but it is really good fun. Hope you enjoy it.

  • Hi....just a flying visit...really hugely busy at work and have tonnes of stuff to crack on with. Going to make myself a cup of tea and then sink into a pile of analyses I need to do for the new Dean of one of the schools I work with. I think she and I will work well together, but she has a lot of things she wants me to do that require a lot of work. Sigh. Will see you when I crawl out from under this pile of work. :) Stay tuned to the Matrix for more news....! :D

Ahhh that's a lovely card, thank you. x

Hi everyone, apologies for being missing in action, been mooching, usually on the flylady thread. Got a random day off today as I had a very long work day yesterday.

Still cannot access the new Matrix, will have a shufty through my old emails to see if I can work it out somehow, unless someone here can point me in the right direction.

Still in a confuzzled state about my direction, what I have realised is just how amazingly lucky I am about a lot of things. I have also had a good think about where I am and where I want to be and there's the rub....I'm not precisely sure where I want to be...:rotfl:

Re the biking and riding a motorbike, have you thought of doing your trip across the states on a Trike...far easier to ride, just don't forget to put your feet up when you stop so you don't run over them and you can carry stuff on them too. Plus in this country you only need a car licence to ride one, any size engine...I do...well did before I got ill, ...ahem...hence my user name.:D
