    Hi Guys,
Flutterby - congratulations on the award. You always write with so much passion and interest about your job. Im sure you are making a difference to these young people so really well done:T:T:T

Taplady - I know how you feel about the jumper. I have recently had a couple shrink as Kids Dad has been doing the washing. I couldn't be cross at him so turned it back on myself and got even more cross with myself that I am ill !!!

Csarina - really hope its not back. Does it come back? I was really careful with hygiene in hospital and washed my hands so much they got sore. I was also very impressed with the levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the my local hospital. really hope that its just one of these horrid bugs thats floating around the ether at the moment.

Jackie G - so glad the lump is nothing horrid. Hope your tooth is feeling better x

Well I have had two good and two bad days this week. I was well enough to drive through the beautiful countryside to see my friend Mooloo and DGD. It is so panoramic and I will miss the drive along the tracks but not the tractors coming the other way :eek::eek:
They are viewing their new property which is about 5 minutes from me so fingers crossed its going ok for them.

I have been eating my homemade soups from the freezer and we made bread in the bread maker after watching Giles and Sue Live the Goodlife. It was yummy so will be re-establishing that routine asap. I think I may have used up all my spoons today as I feel decidedly ropey so am off to bed now for a couple of hours. Still the house is tidy and clean as my dear cleaner came yesterday and worked very hard which was much appreciated.

Im still in the throes of lots of medical stuff but its so lovely to read you good wishes and hear your news xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Afternoon all,

Congratulations on award Flutterby...no surprise to anybody here.

Csarina....Hope that OH will be ok.....somebody suggested you have a word with Dr yourself, second that, you have had a rough time lately.

Taplady....jacket for one of the doggies maybe??

Lovely day here but freezing cold....house is freezing, woodburner and living room fire going non-stop but when the thick walls get cold they are not enough to warm the place up....just the 2 rooms they are in.

JackieG....glad to hear that DS1 is having to do his homework! Good luck with shopping.

Spent an hour hunting for Credit Union books....eventually found them with knitting wool....obviously chucked all away when painting was starting. I can pay without books but easier with and want to do it to-morrow when I meet a cousin for coffee in the morning.

Living room curtains are in wm....want to get new ones, but as its so cold am putting old ones up until I get what I want, too cold without..

Dinner to-night will be chicken and veg pie, topped with mash from yesterday....OH peeled the spuds and did enough for an army....think that he has forgotten how to count! Might do an apple sponge for after as need some sweet stuff at moment, think its the cold weather.

JackieO....you are such a lovely mother-in-law I am glad that SIL appreciates that...

Need to get rid of some of the stack of old magazines I have taken out of the wardrobe ( where I put them the last time I tidied up!) Will take any useful bits out and recycle the rest, keeping kitchen ones as DIL1 still hopes that she may be able to choose a new kitchen whenever they get to buy a new house.....they seem to be having a run of bad luck with vendors who are still looking for boom time prices....maybe they are being a bit too picky, but I don't think that they plan on ever moving again so should get all right.

Hope that those who are under the weather or who have sick kiddies will be better later

Those of you of a certain age might remember this series from 1984 - I loved it but could never remember any of it apart from the music :D Of course I ordered it for the kids with it being nearly the Xmas season and all ;):o
