Hope youre OK in the downstairs department now LP, make sure you dont do anything too strenuous to start Mini Pixie off again!
No snow here as yet  but expected tomorrow and every day till Thursday! :j I've swapped shifts with another of the girls at work and am doing 4 nights next week, however I wont be going anywhere if we're up to our armpits in the white stuff. Being stranded in the dark in the forest is not my idea of a laugh ......
Have wrapped all my pressies tonight (with hinderance from OH) and will be buying all the groceries next week. Whats your moving date LP??KimmyCustard :j0 -

10th December so just under a fortnight. Schools are off here. OH has to go into work apparently so is in bed. I fully expect him to be home before we get up as he starts at 4am so hopefully either something will change or he will go and get sent back. Police saying only travel if essential and IMO work is not essential.
I made playdoh today and i also made a dough for ginger bread men earlier and that chilling in the fridge. I hope that tomorrow I can amuse the kids with that because I refuse to go build snowmen with my iff pelvis and risk of slipping
Snow on again so blah...MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
Wow, that really isnt long to go then!
Work is not essential IMO as well, I did ask what the procedure is if I cant get in. They said you have to be seen to make the effort or you get a day's annual leave taken. Why on Earth would you make the effort, get stuck in a snowdrift in your car, with no chance of rescue from the OH, AA etc etc in order to 'be seen to make the effort'??!! Surely I am old enough to make an informed decision on the WEATHER??! We will see tho...........
OH is currently playing Xbox Black Ops thing online with his mates, the noise!!!KimmyCustard :j0 -
I know, I made OH pack his away, he only gets to play at weekends and as we only have 1 weekend left until move I said it would probably be best to pack it away.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

I have 8 pints of milk in, 1 loaf of bread but yeast and flour etc. I have powdered milk and enough in freezer/fridge to last 6-7 days.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

On that subject and to get a bit more MF. I have spend £163 since October 19th on food and household things like razors, deoderant, new toothbrushes and toilet roll, nappies and wipes etc. Despite this and the forcast snow I didn't do my usual shop on saturday morning so OH nipped to corner shop earlier for milk as it looks like we will be inside for a fair bit of this week. I i a breif meal check and ignoring tins of beans i have enough food in cupboards for 6-7 meals. Not huge meals by any stretch of the imagination but alot of pasta, tinned tuna, tomatoes, corned beef, frozen chicken, jarred sweet and sour sauce, jarred carbonara sauce, tinned soup etc. I also have powdered milk, flour, yeast, oil and the usual jams etc. Thats great for the possibility of being snowed in for the best part of a week but I think its a prime example of the excesses in our spending in the recent past.
I have set food budget at £350 for 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 2) at the moment me and kids eat luch at my parents as its close to DD1 nursery and I can't get up and down the stairs in my house so I skive at my parents when not working. Once early 2011 comes and we are in new home this will change because I will be home/on maternity leave but still even with formula and nappies I see no reason why we cannot slice £100 off that amount easilyMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
