Its so good that MIL can have the kids, must mean you can get loads done or just rest if thats what you need!

We had a couple of sprinklings today and its very cold here, they keep saying we're going to get 4 inches by Friday, not sure where from!

Have been inside all day today, too cold out for me and I hate driving on ice unless OH is with me, I'm a weed.

huby attempted work, got 3 miles, got stuck, came home cold and wet. end result he is bad sleeping and i'm wide awake as he wakened me slipping back into bed at 5:30 complaining of cold.

We have had the most pathetic sprinkling of snow overnight, have been out to defrost the bird bath and put out bird food, its very cold but NO SNOW!! I envy your 8 inches

Very true - 18.6 overnight there I here. OH has went into work the idiot. Roads apparently a nightmare police saying journeys only if essential and as he is a lorry driver and the A90 he uses is apparently impassable because of snow drifting snow and black ice then I doubt he will be out so in reality he has went to work disturbed me in the process to sit in a warehouse until 2pm or something then come home. I could understand his insistance on going to work if he worked in an essential area like medicine or even a road gritter or something but the A90 perth/dundee road is pretty much only drivable for 4x4's, his work has a small warhouse and they get daily deliveries from a deport in yorkshire, there is no way they will of had a delivery yesterday or today so arrrgggghhhhh.

Oh and now he tells me they are off to Aberdeen!!!

Mine has too, even though i asked him not to. Won't listen to reason. He was lucky to get home last night. Fed up of telling him.
