Negitive points of hospital stay.... Hubby took me out to a 'bistro' for lunch and he has taken unpaid leave all week to do the house packing/cleaning/kids type things while I relax... health more important than money etc etcMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

What extreme measures you have had to take to get him to take the time off.
Glad it is all coming together for you.0 -

Extreme measures indeed... I had a nice cauliflower and smoked cheese soup at lunch yesterday so I hope to have a look and have a stab at the costings. Nice thick filling soup with some crusty bread.
other than that i'm in bed, Hubby is wandering about like a headless chicken and i'm trying not to stress out at him who seems to have no idea what he is actually doing or whyMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

Hi LP
I've just caught up on your thread and wanted to say hi.
I really fancy a cauli and cheese soup now...nomnomnom
How do you think Mr Pixie would cope with a 'to-do' list?Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Mr Pixie is anti list. He is forgetful and a grump... I bought him a little a6 note pad earlier on this year for him to write down his to do lists so not forget stuff.... 4 days and he forgot where he put the pad and it only surfaced again during the pack up and TBH I think he threw it in the bin.
Nice example after lunch he said I think i will go get my hair cut, ok I say well while your there nip to the postoffice next door and sort out the mail redirection to new address for a year please. OK he says. Oh and nip into the co-op and pick up some fresh apple juice, I really fancy a pint of cold apple juice. Now the barbers co-op and postoffice are a 5 minute stroll so say 10 minutes in this weather although a pavement plow and gritter has been along. So about 10 minutes later my phone goes... How long am i redirecting the post for, a year i say, that isn't an option, 1,3,6 or 12 months are the only option... umm 12 months is a year. oh so it is bye. less than a minute later.. where is it going to.. umm our new address.. yeah he says but i don't know it...... so tell him new address.... 30 seconds another call.. how do i pay for it?? umm with your bank card oh ok bye....
Seriously I wonder how he manages to dress himself in the morning.
I am working through change of address things... totally annoying me though.... sorted council tax, out plus minor things like my clubcard, avantage card etc. Handed in notice to storage container so that will be empty for next tuesday. Midwife coming out tomorrow morning to check me over and do more blood pressure so I will get address changed then or i will get my MIL to do it seen as she is technically a MW. Very weird being in a hospital ward and the MW dealling with you is telling you she actually delivered your husband all those years ago...MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
