I found out with DD1 at 29 weeks 10th July 2008 (day before OHs bday)

I was in hospital for tests as they didn't know what was wrong with me, and they also took me straight down in tears I asked to know the sex. When they told me she was a girl I had Evie in my head (even though it wasn't a name I'd ever heard or thought of and she is Evie and now there's loads of them!)

With DD2 I wanted the surprise because I hadn't had it previously - but I preferred knowing the sex. It wasn't much of a shock as by the time she was due I was pretty sure she was a girl. Even though everyone else thought that she was a boy (80% with her condition are boys). If I ever have another I'd definitely find out the sex (it was magical that day finding out with Evie)

PS I had those 3D scans on the NHS with DD2 as part of her monitoring and they are amazing. They used to ask me if I knew the sex and then ensure that they kept the probe away from her bits as they said it would be so obvious if I caught a look
    OPs so far £42,139

it is a bit strange. Lightning and thunder but instead of driving rain its snow. We have about 8 inches of the white stuff at the moment I think. Where my car is parked there is no getting it out and you can't tell whats road and whats pavement. am fully expecting the schools to be shut tomorrow, OH delivers up north mostly schools and not only are lots ofthe raods around there closed or only suitable for a 4wd but it looks like his drops are all closed anyway so god knows what he will be doing. I think he should have a duvet day with us but dunno.
