Hun i also have down days, feel like i'm carp mum and need to get things off my chest, which is why i have a diary, i can say things on here that i can't talk about to other people, guess i just want to be happy mummy/ wife/friend etc that can cope with everything, if only it was that easy.0

I have loads today this morning but am sitting here stressing out wanting postman to come and hopfully bring new bank details (not even been accepted yet!) desperatly want to arrange for OH's wages to be paid into new account and today is the lastest for it to go in on time.
I can then set about sorting out all the other bit's and bob's i've got to change.
Once that is all sorted i will send CCCS back all the info.
Still need to sort printer out :mad:as got to print off some bank statements for CCCS (have got 3 printers sitting here and non of em bloomin work!!)
Am struggling with money at the mo not sure how i am going to get through till 26th payday!
Although i have some money in the bank it is all needed for dd's due out over the weekend.
Could kick myself for paying the min on 3 cc's this month approx 700.00:eek: (this was before i had decided to go down the DMP route)it just goes to show how scarily i relied on cc's as normally i would just have borrowed back from cc's to keep going through the month!!
Decided to cut my own hair this morning :eek:as getting desperate!knowing i couldn't afford hairdressers even the 10.00 ones (used to be a hairdresser so at least i know what i'm doing but not quite so easy cutting the back!!) and it hasn't turned out too bad, i normally have it longish and just wanted to slightly bob it up.
Will now go and get dressed:o and carry on waiting for postman!0 -
Hope postmans been hun and you have managed to sort out OH wages.
Could the hairdressing bring in some money, even if its only cutting other peoples childrens hair, i hate taking my 2 children to the hairdressers and would love to find someone with reasonable prices that would pop around in the evening and trim there hair.0 -
Hi pwps
Waited in vain for postie! so rang nat west up and account has been opened:jbut couldn't give me any details over the phone,so have just been down to branch and got them to print em off so when OH comes back for lunch we can fill the forms in to transfer wages.
phew that's one less thing to worry about.
I could do hairdressing (although i am now a bit out of touch as haven't really done it for years) but it's a thought and one worth considering.
Thanks for posting x0 -
Glad you managed to get sorted regarding bank account.
Hairdressing, might be worth putting a card up in local post office or newsagents, i only ever have minr and the kids hair trimmed, i would love to be able to get it done all at the same time, at least in your own home kids can watch tv whilst mum is getting hair cut.0 -
Hi
Well done on taking that first step :T
I started one with CCCS in February 2007 and nearly 4 years later, it was definitely the best decision I made.
My debts were £47k at the start and are now £23k. Still a way to go but I don't get any phone calls or letters now, I just make my one payment a month to CCCS.
I was very scared at the beginning so I totally understand your apprehension but there are some very supportive people on here to help get you through the harder days. And you will start to feel better.
I've subscribed to your shiny new diary and will be popping in to see how you are doing :j

Hi Mum23
Just popped over from my diary to wish you luck.
Sounds like the plan is coming together, the Natwest account is a good move and hopefully the CCCS won't take too long, fingers crossed.
I know what you and L2L mean about other halves burying their heads, mine is exactly the same, all of our debts (except the mortgage) are in my name as I had the better credit rating and the higher income at one time. That's changed now, he earn's more but I am still plodding along with the debt and whenever I try to speak to him about it he changes the subject or just jokes about it.
At least we can all moan to each other and support each other!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Good luck everyone

Hi Jubilee
Many thanks for such a positive post:Tit's lovely to here all is going well for you.
And athough i know the support on the DFW board is 2nd to non you do hear a few horror stories:eek: it is the not knowing that is the worst.
But i do hope once everything has settled down a bit that we can try and enjoy a more normal stress free life (well especially me who has had all the worry of it as OH seems to let it go over his head!).
I want to try and throw as much money at this debt as possible but without the kid's going without too much.
Thanks again for your supportive post x0 -

Hi
Have had quite a productive day switching over bit's and bobs to new bank acc.
Can't actually wait to see money going in to my new shiney bank account (how sad is that lol!) as the balance at the mo is 0.00!
My lovely mum gave me some money today bless her so that i could go to Mr T's and buy enough food to last until payday!
It's my birthday on monday and i am pretty sure my mum and gorgeous DD1 Have bought me Next vouchers as that way they know (or think!!) i will have to spend it on myself but both boys need new trainers/shoes  they only have pump type things that are not suitable in this weather and although i could prob get away with buying the youngest trainers/shoes from "Primani" it would be a no no with my 16yr old!!!
Hope everyone has a good weekend x0
