Morning all.......................((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.....

Late start this morning, OH got up to the loo around 7am, I went back to sleep woke at 8.35, showered and had brekkie.

No sign I can see of any frost, it has been cold thoough the bedroom windows are running with condensation, window open a bit at the bottom to clear it. The sun is out as well so that should help.

I really ought to go out and clear the old wood store so I can stack the logs from yesterday, but it will have to wait until Thirsday, I am aching from moving the logs from the road into the garden last night, so taking it east today........sorting out my sewing room......

Not sure what is for supper tonight possibly scotch pie and mash, will see what OH fancies. Will have to bake some more muffins, only one left, will put mixed fruit in the next lot.

Offsky for my second coffee and start on the sewing room, back later..........

  • Bitsy - Good power selling vibes coming your way;), I'll swop your 2 for my 3;):D

JG - Ouch at root canal, I've had my 2 removed rather than have root canal, but they are at the back.

Have stripped all beds  and re-made, going to argos to get DD1 a new quilt 1/2 price atm as molly the bull terrier crept in through the night and bleed on it .

We've just had " wake n shake " at school, basically 10mins aerobics with the kids :rotfl:, the older children were on a platform in the playground with music showing the moves :T.
Right off to argos/Mr T's for bits...

    See yaaaaaaxxx

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Good Morning All! BrrrrrH! I am cold - even walking the doggies didn't warm me up today! We are off to see Mikado this evening in Cambridge, so looking forward to that. Therefore we'll be eating at lunchtime with just a sandwich tonight. Think we have some beefburgers in the freezer and just enough leftover beef to make the sarnies.
Have another set of Minutes to get done now - really long meeting last night! Also need to get the stuff stashed on the dining table away too. My lovely sister and husband are visiting next week - they are a very tidy couple!! Must get to Curves soon - that should warm me up!
Sorry to hear about the toothache JG - nothing worse I think.
Hope you all have a good day today. take care.

    Hi peeps

nice and sunny here now but still very very cold. It seems more like early afternoon to me with being up so early but i`m losing my steam now so may have an hours nap later to recharge my batteries.

Pal and doggie has just been around and we had a nice catch up over a cuppa, i made a giant fruit scone so we had a piece each with the hm butter and hm plum jam - twas lovely :D

The chicken chasseur is bubbling away in the slowcooker, the scone is still cooling on the side and will need putting away soon, we ate some whilst it was till warm. I have a huge pan of soup cooling in the kitchen which i`ll blend as soon as its cool enough and then later i shall make the chutney :D

Hope that i`ve got enough jars left as i`ve already used lots for jam and piccalilli. I`ve got a huge pot of lime pickle part way through making as Dsis loves this so its for her Christmas hamper.

Later today i have some wine to filter - there are 5 demijohns waiting to be done so it will be a long job, once thats sorted i can start some more off so that we have a nice stock in :D

Jackie - Meant to say earlier good luck at the hospital, shame about the tooth appointment though, hope that you manage to get a cancellation.

Sistercas - I have the same book that Penpen recommended, its stashed in a drawer. I`ve seen loads of people recommend it so it must be good but i`m clueless :o

Seems quiet here now that everyones out, the litle black cat hasn`t even surfaced yet so i`ll go and check on her.

    Keep warm peeps.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

  • Just back from spending an inordinate amount of cash buying tickets and a hotel overnight stay for my son-in-law and two of my DGS to see the Liverpool-v-Fulham match at Anfield on 18th December He will be shocked to the core when he sees what he is having as his special 'big 40th birthday treat' from his ma-in-law,so will the two boys .They are loyal liverpool supporters and have never been to see them play 'live' so I am going to have two very happy grandsons and one extremely happy son-in-law.But he is a real diamond and I can't sing his praise too highly I haven't cooked a sunday dinner in over 7 years as I always go to their house for it and if there is anything that needs doing he will go out of his way to help and do it for me.I am so lucky to have my DD married to such a great chap.it will be worth every penny just to see his face .
Sunny here at the moment but cold and fresh. At least its dry, just going to have some lunch then I'm off to my craft class for the afternoon.Hope everyone is having a good day today
    Cheers JackieO xx
