    Afternoon all!
managed to get another interview for tomorrow, so thats 3 for this week so far. Tomorrows is a temp position that is 5:30 - 10:30 in the evening - this will work well for me, as although a drop in money would still be somthing coming AND leaves me the days to job hunt, interview and watch the pup so OH doesn't have to take him to work. Definately didn't get one job last week - they said i was not very good at the role play..... have gone back to them to say did not do a role play so am comfused! but nevermind, on wards and upwards

OH got a cheque today, so we'll be okay - desperately need to pay our CT!

Have put another load on, taken the dog for a walk, and plan on spending the evening reading my book!

    Have a lovely evening all!

Work flew by today. We had a day long meeting - which sounds horrendous but wasn't! As we all work all over the place and are rarely all together it was nice to get us all in the same room to discuss issues. And we got a free lunch :D. One of the things we discussed was moving to a new office. We have outgrown our current space, and it's not ideal as it's in the Town Hall building so the kids have to behave! But we pay no rent where we are so would need to find somewhere cheap/free, though as a charity we can get good rates. One of the places they are considering is literally opposite my flat!!! So it would cut my commute from 3min drive to 30seconds!! :rotfl:

One of my colleagues wives makes the most amazing cakes, and she made some for us this morning to take to our meeting  they were cupcakes with multicoloured icing and edible gitter and butterflies on them! So amazing :D

When I got home I had post saying I have passed one of the modules of my Learning Coach course! :j I submitted the essay 2 months ago so was wondering what had happend to it!

  • Evening All,

Face is killing me I am worried its an absess - don't know if I am being melodramatic or not though :o face is hot to touch and slightly swollen and gum is sore to touch and tender. :(

Hospital went well, but when I went to my Dsis house to pick the boys up, as soon as I talked to her dog, he peed all over the floor. He doesn't stop either when you tell him off, and I kicked him (not painfully, shoved him with my foot, away from where he was peeing) and he then cocked his leg and didn't stop until he was finished. That's the last five or six times I've gone he's done that, and my sister is livid - he doesn't do it with anyone else, just me, and he doesn't do it when I just speak to him, or ignore him, only when I go to clap him. Anyone any ideas? I adore him, and don't like seeing my sister so upset, but I don't want to stop petting him. It would be funny if it wasn't so disgusting. He's six by the way.

    Afternoon everyone

Not posted for a number of days as still trying to sort ds2 secondary school out. It is causing me a lot of stress, found a school which I liked last week, spoke to the senco who said that for him to access full curriculum would need full time support, rang the deputy head to ask if they would back me up on this when trying to finalise statement and he told me that they had no places left for statemented children and that he had already written 1 rejection letter that day. As we only moved to this area in August, feel like we have missed the boat as this appears to have been sorted in Y5 for most pupils that are statemented. Rang the Lea to arrange a meeting, they said they would get back to me today, no phone call as yet:mad:.

I hope you manage to get something sorted, must be very stressful for you all, big hugs xxxx
