Forgot to add my OS stuff for today - drinking the cold coffee I made last night before falling into bed and forgot about!

Stuck it in the microwave for a couple of minutes - tastes hot.

    :rotfl:

Also found a stash of unused Body Shop Manuka Honey shampoo (about 4 bottles) so no more shampoo buying for a while. :j

Morning folks, rather nippy here, must be the worst frost we have had this year so far. Busy week ahead again, one member of staff down but everyone is pulling their weight and the day passes really quickly! Going to take the chicken fillets out of the freezer this morning and make them into escalopes (slice them thinly, put a little pocket in them and stuff some garlic and cheese then coat in breadcrumbs), with roast pots and cauli cheese. Washing is on line (frozen to it), and T/D is just finished, so onwards and upwards.
Hugs to all those that need them,
    Suzy

You know the square panel you use for a mouse on a lappy, well the slidy bit to scroll up and down has stopped working any suggestions ???? Yes, there are two buttons which say PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN :p

Tea tonight we're all off to Redruby's Lamb my favorite and cheesecake too how lovely :D.I'll pick you up on the way :D

    Morning All!

Jack Frost has paid us a visit too. DH has his knickers in a twist (not a pretty sight  ) as the back windows in my car were down a wee bit and there's ice on the inside - its me who's driving it, not him!

Good luck at the dentist Sunnyday, I have terrible toothache/neuralgia this morning, and barely slept last night, this is from a tooth the dentist says is healthy. Time to find a new dentist, I think - even though its taken me a while to find someone I feel comfortable with, but there's no point liking her if she's rubbish, is there?

Plan for the day is to do all 3 levels on Flylady this morning, I am pushing myself hard today I've decided, I want to be back at work for Christmas. Then I am off for my weekly hospital appointment this afternoon. I never mentioned, but the other girl who was there last week lives about half a mile from me, and had caught two or three buses to get there, so I'd given her a lift home, and will take her today, it turns out we have a relative in common through marriage, my second cousin is married to her aunt!!! Funnily enough when I saw her, I thought she had more than a passing resemblance to their daughter. What a small world, right enough!

Hope everyone stays safe today, Dazi hope all's OK with you and you're back to normal now, and mum too. Hugs for Molly and Essex Girl, and anyone else sick or with worries, I will ask today on FlyLady if Lady Liberty has heard from Diva recently, I think - although no news is good news, isn't it. NPM and Noah, hope you get something sorted quickly with SENCO.

Hugs spoons and hi fives y'all

    Morning all,

Not caught up on yesterdays thread yet,so hugs to those in need.I was out till mid afternoon doing the carboot. Not done one for years and had forgot its a bit stressful getting parked and unpacked.DH helped to put the clothes on the rail, then beggared off home and back to bed :D He was amazed when he came to pick me up,and saw how much had gone :jThats a good bit of decluttering done, and will pay for The turkey ,wine etc.I came home and felt really shivery and chest tight, been coughing all night,so am sipping Manuka honey, fresh lemon and hot water.

I am hoping my book comes from Amazon today about sewing with an overlocker.I'm ok now on some aspects, but others need help.

Tea will prob be sliced gammon from the freezer, but I could do with a bit of a shop-need more lemons to go with my honey, both bedside lightbulbs have gone, fresh stuff too.

BBird- if your slidy thing on lappie def isnt working, you can get a mini laptop mouse,I prefer to use one.Tesc* have them, mine was around a fiver.

    Take care everyone xxx

redruby, topshop and the like are flogging cheap naff versions of those cardi's for £50

Morning all, hope everyone's feeling well and ready to face the week. It looks so frosty outside and my room's hit a new low of 10C  I don't even want to think about how cold it would be if we still had the rickety old double glazing!
I'm used to having a cold house, but I still haven't figured how to get changed when it's so cold! Attempt to do it under the duvet? Or just throw off all my clothes and do it as fast as I can?

Off to work until four in a mo, then meeting my friend at uni to work on the assignments for a few hours, then home to give the kitchen a big clean and snuggle into bed.
I was helping OH with money last night... he's been spending a ridiculous amount lately(some OS'ers feed, clean and entertain a family of 4 off it) and doesn't really know how and doesn't have anything to show for it! He's so bad at budgeting, and it's all the extra little spends that add up that he forgets about, he said he's going to stop them and only buy lunch out once a week when he needs to as it's "only" £3! I'll be working or at uni all day and will bring all my own food or go hungry, but I am weirdly against buying ready made food :rotfl:

Anyway, have a good day all!

Good morning everyone, Its been a while since I posted on here, I hope you are all well as can be expected on this fine and very frosty morning in Dublin....brrrrrr. Worried about Mum. She rang me on Saturday morning to say she had had a fall the night before, but could not remember anything about it until she woke on Saturday morning but that she now had a black eye - what a shiner, the complete right side of her face is swollen and black and blue and her right arm is also very bruised and hurt. It seems she fell going into the bathroom on Friday night, does not remember anything about it, my poor Dad got an awful fright on Saturday morning when he saw her face. Whats worrying me now is that this is the third fall in about two weeks that she does not remember anything about it. I insisted she came to us for lunch yesterday cos Dad was out at an army 'thing' and she would not go because of her eye. We had DS, with his partner and kids too so that occupied her mind for a couple of hours but she was restless, she just wanted to go home, what do I do next??? Anyway OS for today, put small freezer on defrost before I left for work this morning, hopefully will get this sorted when I get home, washed up after brekkie, dinner will be leftovers from yesterdays roast with chocolate muffins and custard to follow. Bread to be made when I go home and hopefully an early night cos I did not sleep well last night. Have not even thought about 25th Dec yet.

Anyway, hugs to everyone who wants or needs them, drive safe wherever you are in the country, the roads are very icy.

    Have a good day

Think the frost is pretty wide spread, its been a heavy one here, should kill off some germs if nothing else, my neighbours car's windscrren looks like its snowed......

Need to change the bed this morning so OH has been taken his brekkie and told to get up, he was fidgiting for England last night, I was getting ready to go into the other bedroom when I realised he had fallen asleep, no such luck for me stayed awake for another couple of hours, feel carp this morning. Hey Ho........

Its a bright morning despite the frost, hope to get at least one load of washing dry on the line, will see what the forecast is for later in the week for the rest. I hate having it hanging about on the airer in the sitting room.

Well I use the up and down arrows to move the page or I plug in a mouse to the USB (when I don't have it on my lap ;)). Worth asking on the techie board perhaps??

    Morning my lovelies :D

Walk to school was lovely (albeit 10 mins in total ;)) lovely sunshine and lots of heavy frost. Getting excited about Xmas now :T:T
Lots of things I need to today, trip up to local shops, need to email some bits and pieces to a MSE-er who is helping me set up my website for my crafts  Never had my own website before :o Am strangely nervous and excited.
Oh and then there is the never ending house work but we won't talk about that shall we ;)

Tea - no idea :o Might have a makeshift for tea.

Redruby - I'll have some cheesecake please :D

Cait - Sorry about your poor mum! Does your mum think she's got a problem regarding these blackouts? Is it worth speaking to her GP? Must be worrying for you xx

NPM - I hope you managed to get some sleep last night. Hugs for you and Noah xxx

Geebee - Welcome to the thread. Hope you can stick around :D

Sorry if I've missed anyone or anything in important. Doing everything in a rush at the mo :o

Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.
