  • grateful thats a lovely piccie of the dogs and the stick - I think anyone who suffers from BD should print that off and keep it where they can see it and see how happy and playful black dogs can be and not let the BD get a hold.

    wise words.

BiL and SiL came over this afternoon with birthday presents for my yougest and my house looked like a bomb had hit it :o
    HELP where do i start?

Welcome!! The boiler man just said to me that hell was an overly houseproud woman...after looking at my kitchen.

He also told a funny story about a family whose aga kept going out and he kept replacing the same part...only to discover their great dane was leaning on it and blocking the air vents:rotfl:

Kazm that's really nice of your DH, wish mine would do something like that sometimes.
Sparkleworld was that online? Do you have a link as I can't find it and could do with replacing mine
PP thank you for reminding me we need new bulbs in the bedroom, I keep forgetting to ask him
Shysarah wouldn't worry about a week, I've always been about 3 weeks behind or more on most courses. I do plan being more organised next year but don't have it in me lol Craftyscholar is right now stop being a drama queen and know you will be ok.....there I got mean....that's not something I am good at either lol
Dusty orange for me too, I remember a bought pudding having lemon juice in it, another recipe I had used mandarin syrup

Well my bimbles & HHCs hve been ok so far, I now have a very shiney drainer! It took some scrubbing with a brillo pad I found. It's not been that clean since we moved in (I know as I removed some of the paint that was spilt on it) I've put a soda cystals mix in the sink, some down the plug hole so having 10 minutes while it soaks in (brillo pad wasn't working .....eeek!!)

Boys seemed to enjoy harry potter but DS2 is now very very tired and in mehhhh mehhhhh mode so I'm trying to keep calm with him, just to last out until bed time (or he'll be up stupidly early) He's crying again now because DS1 changed the TV over and he couldn't have my phone to play with, grrrrr I hate tired kids lol. Need to make some tea too, I've got sausage rolls for the boys and either a chilli or spag bol for me, I think it's chilli but didn't label when freezing so until it defrosts a bit it looks similar lol

Going to do some more work in the kitchen tonight, I want to get it finished then hoping to start the LR tomorrow while DP is out. Even if a lot is his mess as he's doing my head in lately so I would prefer to do it without him here. He bins stuff we need and keeps stuff we don't which does my head in. He's running his car club for longer tomorrow, 10am-5pm so I've got more time to do it and I've already warned the boys they WILL be helping.

Right, tea, I can see bed time for DS2 approaching sooner ........mehhhhhhhhhh
One day I might be more organised...........

Hello all, hope you are all well xx

I have done very little today....2 loads of washing and watching films with DD. I woke up this morning feeling rough as ****.

OH got the tree and baubles out of the attic before going out and DD nagged until I put it up....then took forever to connect the stooopid lights(pre lit tree). DD is now decorating it...I hurt every time I move so I am supervising.

We walked to the chip shop(only in the next street) and when we got back I realised AF had turned up to join the pain party!!! Happy days :(

Hugs for those feeling down or poorly at the mo xx

Bean stew/casserole anyone got a good recipe?
I make a good food one from years ago myself - onion/garlic/chilli base with cayenne and smoked paprika, with passata and then mixed beans. DH likes some sort of meat in it - ideally chorizo. To quote, top it with an egg and some chopped chilli and grated cheese, and then give it a few minutes in the aga for a mexican breakfast. *shudders and thinks longingly of white warburtons and lurpak*

Decided against christmas pudding/cake as there is only really me who eats it. Half of my success with keeping the weight off is down to self control. Hopefully soon I can blame my thyroids and eat myself sick :T

Urnm only if you'll swap for an overtired and grumpy & whiny 8 year old?

Must be the time of year, or weather or something! :)

My car is with a friend who is tinkering with it for me and its proper poorly, but oil leaking into the clutch  may explain why its been so awful. Now I feel bad that its taken him hours today, and a couple more tomorrow and he's very covered in oil :o, will need to add some more £'s to compensate.

OK - finish list woman and get thineself to Mr T's,

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Hi :)
Don't know if this helps but both my boys started going through the hormonial stages at ages 8 and 9 :) Could possibly be this?
Good luck with it - it does get better :)
