    It's 4 small Snickers.
Not 44 which has often been the case in this house.
And you didn't eat the ones they like.
Tape the tin up ... nothing to see here... move along...

ETA: ermmm shysarah didn't you have keyhole surgery without a lot of notice? Grounds for letting yourself off the hook. IMO.

    Updating my list from earlier...
    • [STRIKE]Be in town for 9.30 to help out at a meeting[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Buy some 'smart casual' clothes *shrugs* and see if I can find some shoes[/STRIKE] No shoes...
    • [STRIKE]Assist OH with the removal of the fitted wardrobe. email Freecycle person who wants them.[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Fill the holes in the living room walls.[/STRIKE]
    • Assist OH with the putting up of a curtain pole.
    • Make a start on cleaning the final wall.
    • Aussie Christmas cards to organise - mail merge some labels (if I can remember how to!)
    • Supermarket shopping list to generate - not sure whether online order or in person. Depends if I find 'smart casual' clothes in our woefully inadequate town centre.
    • [STRIKE]Cobble together some dinner - not sure what we're having yet...[/STRIKE]
    • Do some more study
Slowly getting there, I think. Just got to have a bit of a tidy up in the living room now. I'll cook some dinner in a bit, then help with bathtime...then HHI, and quick tidy of the kitchen.

It's all go here at the moment. One good thing is that the black dog isn't getting a look in!

Hope everyone is OK? Sending hugs to anyone who needs one.

    Take care

((((hugs)))) to everyone who needs them xx

Knackered today, DD woke up at 11ish last night and didn't go back to sleep til after 3.30am. DS then woke up at 5am demanding breakfast :(

DH has been at work all day, DS is at my ex's until tomorrow evening so just me & DD here all day. Made pancakes for lunch, then chilled out watching Button Moon for a bit all snuggled with duvets on the sofa with DD. She's exhausted but wouldn't have a nap!

We walked into town and got a yogurt maker & some chicken for a curry tonight (I forgot to get chicken out the freezer last night :o) Yogurt is currently 'cooking' so will have a peek this evening to see what's happened in there!

When we got back I started sorting out the bomb site that is my sewing table finally! It's not done yet but a definite improvement. I'm hoping that by tomorrow evening I'll actually want to get on with some sewing - my poor machine has been neglected for a couple of weeks & I've put nothing new in my Folksy shop (which is looking very bare!) Just had a quick clear up in the kitchen and put the DW on so it's all tidy for DH to make curry later :rotfl:Not much to put away in the living room so will do that just before DD goes to bed & hoover (laminate floor gets so filthy so quick!)

This evening I'm going to finish knitting a little hat for BIL&SIL's baby due in Feb and watch X Factor, don't plan to move from the sofa!

Leaves all swept up with DS1's help - I'd helped him earlier to reclaim £30 from shopper discounts he'd accidentally signed on for

DS3 getting on ok with his orthotics

    DW on
    WM on

    Steamed pudding cooking

Going to have a quick look at debenhams and then debobbling and ironing.

    Cooking ?

Christmas cake fruit soaking - I don't want to use brandy - orange or apple juice?

Bean stew/casserole anyone got a good recipe?
