Sorry I haven't been around much this week but I am now under the influence of a couple of glasses of wine so I will keep this short.
HHi x 6 this afternoon/evening whilst watching strictly/xfactor
love sparkly clean bathrooms.
Master bedroom is a joy to sleep in.
My niece is leaving tomorrow for a year long trip around the world so we are over to my SIL for a goodbye feast (very good as it's over the road so me and DH can both have a few glasses of vino.)
Signing off now for the weekend. See you all on the new fred x0 -

Tooch no offence honey but I cant believe you gave in to your 8? yo DD - its only another 10 days until december - even that would have been easier to bear:rotfl: It would drive me up the wall to have the tree up for over a month!!!! Good luck and take it easy!!!!
Hex be an angel and tell me where I can buy some of this pretty please? i seriously need to lose weight - cant exercise soit has to be via food intake/portion size etc and this would really help me - I am getting desperate - i have searched everywhere for it and cant find it:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:rotfl: seriously I must lose weight as it is getting to me. I should remember how good you were and see if I can match your determination.:TDecided against christmas pudding/cake as there is only really me who eats it. Half of my success with keeping the weight off is down to self control. Hopefully soon I can blame my thyroids and eat myself sick :T
Chloris what about watching a dvd or something from iplayer on your pc while you iron.

I'm sorry I started taking this carpet up  DD has just spent an HOUR sitting on the top of the stairs constantly chatting! I swear I don't think she stopped except to have a drink and even then she made a noise  So I banished her to bed at 9pm and I've had to stop for a break as my back and shoulders are killing me but I'm half way there and I need to get it done some time soon. The carpet grips will have to stay where they are until tomorrow, I won't have the energy to tackle them as they're all metal ones but they're rusty and the underlay (which has disintergrated along with the carpet, its like a beach of dust in my hallway) is stuck under it.
Oh well, back to it
*thinks lovely new carpet, nice snuggly house, lovely new carpet, snuggly new house...etc* Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I have my tiles:T:T:T:T
got VERY close to (say 4 miles away) the B&Q yesterday...made it today, and there they were, on a truck waiting for ME!
So between B&Q Chesterfield, Sheffield Darnall and Nottingham East (Victoria Park) we got there...and clearly B&Q staff are upping their customer service routine. I am MOST impressed...
They're all stacked up outside the bathroom awaiting fixing.

toots xx
Thanks Toots, thats what I planed to do tonight, but ended up ironing whilst doing the 'go to bed' chatter with the children. DD who is 5years old is still awake, arrgh. She is just like her father, a night owl. DS1 who is 6 years old is like me, up at 6a.m. Well ironing done, just going to do the filing whilst DVD-ing and having a glass of cherry vodka - a taste of the spring on a damp day! God, I'm gonna have a head tomorrow!:eek:0 -
Kitchen isn't finished, think I've admitted to myself that tonight it won't be as my arms going dolally with where I got my flu jab, darn thing. I've decided I MUST make sure I shine my sink every day to restart this FL lark, old fashioned I know and not the FL we follow now but I need back to basics

Love to you all x x x x xOne day I might be more organised...........

Phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...........
Well despite my 'OMG I am such a drama Queen' moment and my grumpy self indulgent post (sorry ladies and gents) things here really are not so bad as I originally thought. I have been studying for about 4hrs all in today which I am pleased with and am really making good progress. Not sure any of it is going in but I have got some sense now of the concept of social justice etc.
Sparkleworld - Congrats on completing the lists, doesn't it feel good hun.. I will take a rainbow ty,
Nattyt - Your celebration sneakery made me giggle so much, we got the chrimbo chocs out at my mums tonight after tea all of us snaffling down three then groaning we were too full :rotfl:
Kazwookie - Hope study counts as resting
Short-bird - thanks for your supportive words hun
CraftyScholar - Thanks for your sensible words, I do have a tendency to go a bit nutty if things are out of control
Lil_me - thanks for getting mean, you did a lovely mean if that makes sense - firm but friendly
Tooch - sending healing hugs to your pain party - Chrimbo tree --- Bah Humbug I have cheated picked up a plug in pre lit cone thing this year and that WILL be my only decoration regardless of my sisters whinges and moans
Seafarers-wife - sounds like much fun was had by all, it is flat as a pancake round here and I am just the same when I drive into notts or somewhere all those hills and the like, weee poor clutch control..:rotfl:
O--er got a bit carried away in my comments, I am now going to surf through the tv channels 'man styleeeeeee' and chill-ax
