    you're ok;)

I learned this factfrom a certain esteemed Flylady soon after I joined the thread.

But I have a licence, so I'm covered...

Although I accidentally wasn't for a while as the licence applies to the PERSON not the address - it had been in exOH's name but I assumed that, as it was for here and I was paying it we were fine...I mean, it's your first concern when your relationship breaks down, isn't it...*roll eyes*

I've only just finished taking the carpet up which I started about 8-ish  However its all be swept, binned (wheelie bin now full until they empty it on Monday!), and de-nailed as much as possible. DD must have been exhausted tonight as I've just been hammering a very stubborn nail in on the top step right outside her room and she hasn't even turned over :rotfl: I managed to get 2 grips up, but I need to do too much hammering to lever them off so they can wait until tomorrow. *adds them to mental list*

I think I'm safe to turn the heating back on now before I have a wash & then collapse into bed. I'm filthy and its times like this I miss having a shower :(

Tomorrow I'll hopefully be painting the walls and preparing the gloss work. I must remember to fill the holes in where the thermostat was before I paint as I'm moving it further up the stairs so we don't end up with a cold spot half way up ;)

I should also have a quick tidy & vacuum tomorrow BEFORE X arrives. Thats the only thing with decorating, the whole house descends into chaos :o

    Night night x

Hmm, well I know someone who has had major problems with theirs. Despite offering to do the DD scheme due to CCJ's and old issues they will not allow them. They have said to TV ppls its DD or nothing as cannot afford anymore and they won't let her pay..insane.

Then I spent 2 years without one when I moved out of home and had weekly letters about it, didn't want to accept I did not have a tv and did not want one.

    Silly ppls.

Still I learnt something thanks :D

things here really are not so bad as I originally thought. I have been studying for about 4hrs all in today which I am pleased with and am really making good progress. Not sure any of it is going in but I have got some sense now of the concept of social justice etc.

CraftyScholar - Thanks for your sensible words, I do have a tendency to go a bit nutty if things are out of control :o

Glad things are looking a bit better.

  • Morning all. Today I have to basically tidy and clean EVERYTHING. We have had three wrong weekends now, no chores done and if I have to spend another week scrabbling round at 6.30 am for clean clothes for everyone I will lost the plot completely.

Also I am still feeling really really pathetic, is pregnancy a reason or an excuse or neither??

AnW's mum I've pm'd you, hope its ok?
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

I've done the kitchen. Cleaned the litter tray and am soaking the dustpan and brush cos it was grim.

Will get dressed now, have some porridge, then I'm off shopping.

Happy Birthday Seafarers_wife. Have a great day whatever you are doing xxx
