Happy Birthday Seafarers_wife. I hope you have a lovely day.

Lil_me, we had snow this morning! It has mainly gone now :D DD and DSIL have to come home from the Midlands so I am relieved the roads have improved.

I CBA today, we had a late night after our fireworks and bonfire in the village last night. We have a late Bonfire night here. Had friends staying and I have definitely used all my spoons this week.

DH has prepared all the vegetables for dinner and is off to the pub. I am going to try to do more of this here rag rug as it is in the village sale on Saturday. I always leave things too late.

Toots Can you get to see a hospital dietician?? I have a quiet bell ringing at the back of my head that says anybody who's poorly needs to be excessively careful about dieting. Although you need to create a calorie deficit to lose the weight, you need to keep to good, varied, vitamin and mineral abundant food for healing.
Thanks short bird I have a dietician and she helps but its when I am on my own- I know what i should be doing but my stomach rules my head - I have no will power or self discipline and I comfort eat and then I put on more weight so i comfort eat some more:(:(

Happy Birthday Seafarers wife:bdaycake:hope you have a nice day.

I'm still going on lifting the carpet. Just listed it on Freeg@l in the hopes someone will take it and I won't have to resort to getting my dad to take it the tip for me. Just vacuuming the floorboards now, thank goodness I have a Henry lol

Off to do some more. Laters

We're on a roll so kept going. Dw, wm, td all rolling, sink shined again, another area of kithen clear, 2 washer loads folded, 2 bin bags filled, washing down from upstairs, chicken sorted for dinner and in oven....probably more too

Off for another fling then a HHC 2-2.30 with the boys who are armed with bag each and promised 1p for everything they put away or collect in their bags, I have a dish full of change so will save me sorting it :D I will have a tidy tiny sitting room today! I'll keep focusing on FINISHING the kitchen while watching over the boys

Sounds like it's on it's way properly then poohbear, my DP was sure it was trying to here last night but we just got rain. Hope it holds off a bit longer as I need to do stocking up and preparing the car, got no idea where all my towing straps are

Nicki we've given loads to an organic farm and allotment owners to use on their land, maybe worth a look online to see if there is one near you?
