Afternoon

Dinner in oven roasting
Been aslepp for 2 hours on the sofa!!

Otherwise not done a lot, I did fill up the wild bird feeders

dinner made and scoffed, also a chilli made for me (slimming world stylee)
*goes to put Marigold in chilli as forgot*

anyhoo I have ironed and emptied the laundry basket. Lamewolf, as I too am living in a mess I feel your pain - I have decided NOT to dust AT ALL (wasted of time IMO) so it's just S&S in the kitchen and a lot of vacuuming, which will help, I hope, reduce the levels of dust.

I asked the plumbers to leave my (outdated) wall/shaving light on the wall in the bathroom - but I have now decided to ask them to lift it off and tile under it, in case, when the bank balance is looking less red, I update it. The LSB thinks it will not be finished until the weekend - but, ever the Pollyanna I'm plumping for finished by wednesday - based on NOTHING at all, just sheer hope.

bagged up an Amazon sale - now I need to ask my Mum if she can post it or it won't get done until Thursday, which is too late. I'll wait until the 'antique' sells, then they can BOTH go.

now for some reason I have a mental image of these being people dancing around Pans People Stylee (look away young flypeeps) - they all looked like wild birds IMO:rotfl:

A productive day I think, dinner is nearly ready (just tormenting a few FB friends) sofas all clear so we all can sit down, floor is clear so we can walk in without stepping on something or falling over, kitchen close but still a way to go... it was a pit but the whole problem is having no space to put anything so I am reorganising as I go

I know its the wrong ID but I didnt want to swithch back and fore tonight and get myself confused.
lil_me thanks honey - I will think about it and have a look - I dont have a very big freezer either - I know what I should be doing i just dont manage to stick to it - I go shopping with my carers and they are good not letting me buy what i shouldnt have but then i just go to the shop across the road (50 yards) and get what i want! I am a dead loss!:(
LameWolf -hang on in there hun it will be all right in the end - and think of the alternative:eek::eek::eek::eek: strange:eek: men :eek:in the house :eek:doing it instead of DH :eek:- yes it would be done quicker:eek: but you would be a wreck:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: maybe make yourself a plan for each room to be done when he finishes a room - like a good spring clean in that room and then shut the door to keep out dust from the rest of the work - wont work everywhere but it will cut down the spread of dust a little and you will feel more in control - maybe you should aim to do the ironing until the doors are finished but NOT all at once like today - get him to set up the board a couple of times and just do HHI??? Try to imagine the finished result rather than the mess - (((hugs)))

I've been to the BB service with 3 kiddies. Rhys stayed at home with hubby and he's emptied the crayon bag into hubby's wellies, he's now walking about with one wellie on and shouting 'walk, walk' me thinks it's abit dark now, he would go anyway. :rotfl:

Gonna sit for half an hour and then get the uniforms ready, swim bag and PE kits.

We have had a lovely day in York, got some last minute pressies so I've only got to get DH's and then I'm finished.

I'm just going to get dinner going and then put my feet up for the rest of the evening, I'm shattered.

The carpets are up :j The underlay is up :j They're listed on Freecycle I have 3 bags of rubbish to go in the bin tomorrow

Now to make toasties for tea then I'll vacuum through downstairs due to the amount of muck thats been trodden through and do the ironing we NEED for the week and that'll be me done for the night. I'm shattered. Luckily its an inset day tomorrow so I can have another little lie-in and non-make-up day I do have to try and remember to take DD to the opticians tomorrow, then I'll grab a couple of things I need from @sd@ and @ldi and a chippy tea on the way back
