Passes out at AnW'sMum's news hahaha
    Triker get well soon vibes

Well I wanted to get lots done today, then it took me an hour to get home after helping as much as I could at a nasty accident, then when I got home the bulb in the chameleon tank had popped so off to more queues at the shops - I hate driving on Saturdays! So now I'm down to about an hour and a bit left before I have to pick the boys back up.... bother!

Anyway I plan to do a HHC 3-3.30 if anyone wants to join me, DPs got George 2 put of the garage and it's MUCH bigger than my old one with a hot plate etc so I need to make some space in my shoe box kitchen .... I'll bimble until then ;)
One day I might be more organised...........

    Its not that impressive :o
I followed fly lady for a few weeks without subscribing to see if I could actually do it and found it really motivating so I joined up,
I am SAHM so don't have to struggle with work commitments, my children are getting older and I have a very supportive husband.
I have had the odd wobble of CBA and this really is the first week I feel I have achieved it, will probably fail miserably next week , But I don't care 'cos this week its great!
Physcologically I feel my greatest achievement is conquering mount Ironmore, I iron everything so constantly have a full ironing basket untill I discovered HHC.
I usually iron now when tea is on the stove till OH comes home. its usually about 45 mins.
I try and clean, wipe as I go and use Valli's ( i think) motto Don't put it down put it away.
Children get warned when I am going to venture into their bedrooms (DD especially) and move it or lose it motto works well in there. many Sylvanian bits came to an untimely end thanks to Mr Dyson.
(Used to leave bits in there for her to see and then empty out the canister sneaking out the bits;))

If you stick at it with baby steps it gets better and easier.

Hi all, need to get out of bed, had terrible stomach ache last night and this morning, starting to feel a little better so will get up in a mo and do a HHC.

    New bedroom...reasonable:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    DD2's ...pitsville

    Dining room...pitsville

    Kitchen....semi pitsville

    other bedroom...ok as being decorated

Bathroom...so far no leaking ceiling but we need a real downpour to test the latest roofing fix to see if its worked.

If I have the time and inclination I'd also like to start christmas stocking filler shopping.
Triker hope you feel better soon (((hugs))) and whats this about the new bedroom being reasonable??????? it should still be a haven of tidiness peace and tranquility - its only a week old after all:rotfl::rotfl:

grateful thats a lovely piccie of the dogs and the stick - I think anyone who suffers from BD should print that off and keep it where they can see it and see how happy and playful black dogs can be and not let the BD get a hold.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

:hello:Hi ladies! The first time I've actually managed to get on here this week.

    I've done that!!

I have done the kitchen, and am about to do the bathroom, which is a health hazard.

    - whisper peach, ah, a mid-80's bathroom! All the rage then. We self built our house then, so have whisper champagne - a greenish cream would be a more accurate description. I'm waiting until I drop the extra work day, then I'm getting quotes for replacement - white, spa-style I think. With a decent shower, even is it's over the bath.

lil'me and penpen - bimble? A HHC but rather more random????

    Love and hugs.

    Right

I have finally mended one of the toilet flushes, it took a lot as it is a seal in cisten, so go t that open, good ness knows when that last came off but there was plenty of mastic holding it in, lid off toilet, found the broken bit, off to diy shop to get a new bit, get it home and it is a metric size, so get about making it bigger, then fixed it, then OH came to 'help' it then took another 2 hours...............any way job done.

Bathed, hair colour done, chilling now

Natty~ I give the cards a miss, but good luck with it all, did you do it last year? I cannot remember now who did.

Toots~ I hope you are resting

Sarah~ then same goes for you as well

  • Had an interesting day so far after DS's lesson - been to drop some straggler Operation Shoebox shoeboxes off to a checking warehouse where they crate them up to go overseas. Interesting chat with the lady leading the volunteers and we'll not forget the wonder in DS's eyes to see 100s and 100s of shoeboxes piled up. Then a trip to the garden centre to look at decorations, and we found the man in red had just arrived and lots of competitions etc to raise money for St John Ambulance - so we entered several comps , had a mince pie or two and saw the man himself! :j

OK - runs to join in a HHC with you all..

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
