Just the dailies done today and I have almost finished all the Yule shopping! Just a bit online and a visit to town next week to take advantage of the Whsmiths discount. Very pleased to be nearing the end of that.

I treated myself to a new extractor blanket for the oven, I have never ever changed one of these before so will brave that this weekend. Hopefully finish the LR, filing, letters to write and I have to knit some strawberries to finish my sisters present. Oh, and a mountain of ironing. Well thats the weekend gone then.

Pigpen sending you strength. Impossible situation for your children.
Hellyboo I hope it all gets straightened out.
    Good health to all.
    Hugs and spoons.x

Hellyboo - What does your DH do? Mine is a self employed carpenter, and we've been in the same situation too many times :( Recently he was doing a long term job for a couple renovating their house and as he was packing up on a Friday afternoon they came and told him they had run out of money and couldn't have him back on Monday. It was horrendous, we were living week to week with no savings as it was, with only his cheque from that week to last us goodness knows how long. Luckily he found some more work with his old employer after a few days and it was all ok. A couple of years ago he was employed but his employer was on the verge of bankruptcy. DH didn't get paid from Dec 08-March 09 when we could finally claim back all of his wages (he worked all that time as there were no other jobs and at least if he was paid he'd be entitled to something in the end). For those few months we were living on £25 tax credits and £30ish child benefit each week as I'd been made redundant in September. It was awful, but we coped somehow, and it turned out to be good as he'd never had the guts to go self employed before that! We have the odd scary moment sometimes but it always works out in the end.

I really hope you get everything sorted quickly. It is scary not knowing what's happening, but you've got your boys and you're all together. It will be ok whatever happens ((((hugs)))) xxxx

I've done nothing today, spent all off last night being sick. Spent today on the sofa and still feeling really sick, dizzy.

House looks a mess so i'm gonna try and get something done as the boys are away out tonight.

Hugs, spoons and well dones to all.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Well, the Tool FINALLY collected the children at 8pm.. the littlies go to bed at 7 normally... he had not bought pullups for DD3 so I sent her with 2. Not so much as a sodding apology!!!!!!!

He told the children he had a job interview now I am 100% certain they will not have called him and teleported him there instantly.. there is no reason on Gods green earth that prevented him from ringing me earlier today to let me know.. assuming of course whoever was interviewing rang him this morning.. if they didn't ring him this morning then he should have told me yesterday about it and we have worked something around it.. but to lie to the children repeatedly is absolutely unforgivable!!! (he did this on Tuesday as well and ended up not seeing them at all otherwise I would have put them to bed and not let them go tonight!)

I am speaking to my solicitor on Monday.. and the 'mediator/referee'.. I am NOT having this kind of ballhoops for the children.. THEY should be his priority and if someone rang offering an interview there is no reason he couldn't have said 'I'm sorry I have whatever to do/another interview/appointment elsewhere please can we make it next week?'.. I am pretty certain noone would expect you to drop everything and drive 100 miles for an interview at 2 minutes notice

I am so incredibly angry my head is absolutely pounding.. DD1 is now refusing to go to his and is coming home.. she hates him more than she loves her straighteners!!! LOL.. she said she will just be curly or borrow mine!

Why doesn't he want to spend time with the children? I can understand why I need a break from them.. but he rarely sees them and ignores them or screams at them when he does!!

    well

    2 B&Qs visited

I could have my tiles in ONE go if I went to 'Ull...

Derby and Nottingham with a satnav tomorrow as I went to Nottingham with out it today and couldn't find the B&Q where some more of my tiles were...
LSB has been bribed to accompany me by the promise of a slap-up at Frankie and Bennies...there won't be time for certain other incentives, not if we've to get to the B&Qs;)

Piggers - deep breath hun - he is getting at YOU - or trying to - and is completely ignorant of the resulting fallout and effect this is having on the babies...I hope you are writing all this down, dates, times, etc.

My ex OH didn't see the kids for months when he was unemployed and, despite the fact that I offered to bring them to see him, still wouldn't because (his words) I am asking YOU for nothing...funnily enough I wasn't the one he hurt - DD lost quite a lot of the blind adoration she had for him during that time...
