I used my spoons going shopping this morning - and bought myself an apron. My DH will cry laughing but I like it. I now feel rather old, as well as cranky :o.

Need to collect the boys and then get as a minimum the kitchen done and downstairs hoovered. Upstairs will just have wait as I can't manage repeated trips up the stairs.

Dusty, hope your day got better? I need house insurance too, and after a run of break-ins in the village decent cover is essential.

Thanks hun, I know your right so I am going to curl up under my blanket with a bar of galaxy caramel and watch qvc. I think that is essential behaviour when I have Manflu!

Also got four more chrimbo pressies ordered from amazon so things are really starting to come together now, just need things for my goddaughters, something for my friend and a couple of extras for my dad and BIL and I am done. :T

Going to have my galaxy time now xx

Thanks Hex, today I've achieved very little but have ordered a couple more presents, got a refund sorted at last to my account and DS has his insoles so not all bad. Off to diving now and I need to pop into ASDA - aaaaaaaaaaaaaah as I didn't get to go shopping earlier. Hope you feel less sore tomorrow, knees and hips? xx

ETA - ((hugs)) Hellyboo - deep breaths and try not to panic, clear thinking is required, write things down to find out about.
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Dusty - all my joints, major fatigue and wobbly - having blood tests, etc.
Hellyboo - pulled in the sense that it has gone elsewhere - if so what type of contract? Google TUPE, and then PM me if it looks remotely relevant and you want more info. Is it worth ringing the bank and getting a temporary overdraft agreed before things start to bounce? Huge hugs. If the company goes bust you will get the money from the government but it may take a while.

DW done, kitchen S&S'd, and halfway through hoovering but I stopped for a rest. Need to set up a small boy relay team to take some stuff upstairs next. Pesty Mr A brought half the shopping, and are bringing the rest later.
